09/10/2020 06:54 | Managed to grab a few yesterday but it was hard going, only 75m shares in issue after all, if the news report is true we have a multi bagger on our hands. Wake up folks AST is still a sub £3m company, their claim for material damages could equate to £40m+. | mrmcnee
08/10/2020 22:36 | Wasn't it accurate leaks from the Slovenians that destroyed this company in the first place. Looks like AST shareholders are about to recover some material value. | grimreaper2019
08/10/2020 15:39 | This is material if true - not noticed so far, Ascent are seeking circa Euros 50m (£45m) damages, published today, Ascent valued at £3m currently. Slovenia will first resolve conflict with Britons by peaceful means | goldenshread
07/10/2020 08:32 | There are 15,000,000 shares from the recent cash raise at 2p to be sold on by placees here. To mug punters. Add on the warrants at 4p being triggered and there are potentially another 22,500,000 at 2.5p to be dumped onto the market. That's an increase of 30% of the shares in issue. Then there are 1,500,000 "2 pence per share ("Supplier Shares")" where the three month lock-in is soon to come to an end. Anyone buying in at the moment could suffer a 30% dilution of their hard earned. Be careful. | helpfull
06/10/2020 10:22 | large delayed buy at premium news coming from cuba?! | nash81
05/10/2020 21:03 | One thing i do like about these is the Cuba connection, if Biden gets in he will make friends quickly and also rumps been Pro Cuba. Not sure about the management team they seem interconnected in various ventures, but industries are like that. But the Cuba connection and the opportunities with regards nickel is interesting, but clearly by the wording in the interim statement a cash call is coming in some way, so that gives an opportunity to sit and watch even if the special opportunity rise is missed that will pull it back for a more stable entry. | brut winky
01/10/2020 11:47 | Is there room for Birrell in the clown car? | mrzippo
28/9/2020 13:31 | Did Parsons ever buy any of these shares or did he just leave it to mug punters to throw their money into to fire to keep his gravy train going? | helpfull
25/9/2020 17:53 | Normal service resumed might buy back at 2.5p for next pump | blueblood
16/9/2020 10:39 | This is looking good. I bought more at 2.25 helping me average down. Company is in much better shape and focus! | razoblade
15/9/2020 11:38 | What do Slovenian coal miners think about it all ? | chinese investor
15/9/2020 11:34 | There are good reasons why the Slovenian authorities pulled back and required an EIA. hxxps://www.climatec The legal action is not certain to have positive results. There is a strong movement in Europe for environmental issues and authorities are ever likely to listen to both national and international environmental activists. Ascent might be locking itself into years of expensive wrangling. | helpfull
15/9/2020 08:45 | Not a time to be out of Ascent, if the good City folk are buying what does that tell you. Lots of 'chatter' concerning the Slovenian 'estimate of damages' value, could well surprise, expected imminently :-) | greekhovel
14/9/2020 15:18 | The good reason. When Dennan bought 1.9 million shares at 5p he was not the CEO. He was made CEO a few weeks later. He bought the shares because an £800,000 cash raise was failing;- an investor in the cash raise has reneged on the investment and the placing looked to be in jeopardy. Was there a link between his investment and his reward of being made CEO with the subsequent salary and options that comes with it? He is also a shareholder in C4 Energy where Parsons is a director. Be careful. | helpfull
14/9/2020 14:49 | The CEO bought £100,000 of shares at 5p, that is worth noting, these guys do not risk their own cash without good reason. I see Zak Mir talks about a short term target of 7p today. | the_sage1
14/9/2020 13:29 | Ascent was the equivalent of 10p the day before Parsons arrived. It is strange the mug punter cannot remember that. Industrial removal of cash out of the pockets of the naive is going on. It is what Parsons, Dennan, Staten, Marr and Co. do. Be careful. | helpfull
14/9/2020 11:22 | Lot's of 'chatter' about Ascent going on in the right circles. | greekhovel
14/9/2020 11:17 | Recent events means a company that had "no chance" now has "some chance" ! | chinese investor
14/9/2020 11:15 | Helpfull I note you appear on a number of bulletin boards advising folk to 'be careful' at the same time the said shares seem to be rising significantly. Strange that. | space_dust
14/9/2020 10:34 | I am no fan of paid for research but regulations make it hard for the retail investor to receive broker coverage, minnows like Ascent have few options to promote therefore. The note seems pretty conservative based on many scenarios and is well worth a full read. City folk have been building positions, it is often advisable to follow the money therefore. Ascent looks fundamentally undervalued, read the note with an open mind and you decide. 22p target price. | space_dust
14/9/2020 08:15 | Worse companies than this have multi bagged. Under £3m m/cap and low float makes it possible. | mrmcnee |
