23/5/2008 17:51 | Another £56,000 investment in our company"on the bell".Sit back and relax with this one.The good times will roll in a timely fashion.(imo) | mudbath
22/5/2008 13:36 | Just had a read ARTY.MOST interesting.ARTA could be going places and we are going with them!I felt they dealt with the Cold situation very efficiently.Shame the share price history is so chequered. | mudbath
22/5/2008 08:02 | A look on their website under the job position for a Communications Director is also quite revealing as to their ambitions for growth. "This position will be based in the Head Office located on the outskirts of Bruges (currently 50 staff, expected to double in the coming year), with regular travel to offices in Brussels". | arty
22/5/2008 07:49 | in case ARTA is closing in on a deal - management will not be able to buy stock. It can not offload the 1.9m shares to KPN either, in my view. | magnerita
21/5/2008 19:40 | When (if)announced, cool runnings-then such a contract would set the seal on ARTA's future.Sounds as if you KNOW something!! | mudbath
21/5/2008 19:17 | There should be a deal shortly......State Side! | cool runnings
21/5/2008 11:00 | We need another contract with a large operator! | realism
21/5/2008 10:27 | i dont believe Telefonica matters - a 5% stake (as was suggested in the press in March and denied by ARTA the next day) would cost £3m. KPN's marketcap is 20.2bn. I would only see it as a positive for ARTA in terms of credibility, ie if KPN makes an equity commitment it must be convinced of the technology. | magnerita
21/5/2008 10:12 | Magnerita-Should KPN wish to take a stake in ARTA then there are around 150million 5pence ordinary shares ,authorised but not yet issued.I think that a more robust Telefonica/KPN tie up would stimulate further upward momentum in the ARTA S.P. | mudbath
21/5/2008 09:25 | it is good news but we need more for the shares to make some real progress, unless ARTA sells these shares to KPN of course. Progress on the implementation of the KPN contract and resulting cash flow generation is a trigger imo as well as management buying stock as well as any new contracts gained. Hopefully the group provides a trading update at the end of June before it enters its closed period which should give an updated view on things. | magnerita
21/5/2008 09:02 | Should ARTA sell/place the Cold shares for more than 52 pence-then Cold benefit from the serplus(less costs). Should Cold pay ARTA the £1million owed, then Cold regain control of the stock. If ARTA do not sell and Cold do not settle their debt, then in 12 months the shares are cancelled.Hopefully ARTA shares are by then much higher AND SHAREHOLDERS BENEFIT. Its a no brainer.(imo) | mudbath
19/5/2008 17:43 | Magnerita...Thanks for 25 comment. It does appear that ARTA concluded legal proceedings against Cold at a price fix of around 52pence.If these shares are eventually cancelled, then as Goldstar states,"This is good positive news" and value enhancing for holders. NO WONDER ARTA were so keen to deny rumours of a stronger tie up with KPN last month as this could have resulted in ARTA shares surging ,to the detriment of the level of Cold shares over which our company now has control!! This could prove to be seriously bullish news. | mudbath
19/5/2008 17:08 | Onwards and upwards? | warmsun
19/5/2008 17:03 | Its secured its debt .. simple. This is good positive news. | goldstar
19/5/2008 16:46 | interesting RNS today. ARTA has control over 1.9m shares again related to a £1m claim on Cold Invest. ARTA could sell this 3.4% stake on to KPN as it was suggested in March that KPN was thinking about taking a 5% stake in the company. I think an investmeny by KPN in ARTA would increase the credibility of the company Also - ARTA says in the RNS it MAY sell these shares. This does not suggest the company is in great need to raise cash. | magnerita
19/5/2008 16:39 | Who needs white knuckle rides at Blackpool Pleasure Beach when owning a tranche of ARTA shares provides such a roller coaster ride on a daily -or sometimes hourly-basis. | mudbath
16/5/2008 14:23 | Recent share price movements would indicate something might be going on....and the recovery in the share price bodes well. Good luck | warmsun
16/5/2008 14:07 | Well that's unanimous then, the shorters thread will be relegated to the cyber dustbin. May be I so bold as to suggest that news could be imminent if the recent price shenanigans are anything to go by, I don't mean that as a ramp but merely as a possible explanation for the rather bizarre trading pattern recently. | arty
16/5/2008 13:55 | simple but good idea with the thread Arty - well done. we are recovering nicely now.....good stuff | warmsun
16/5/2008 13:42 | This price movement brings to mind the "Grand Old Duke of York",howvever the $64,000 question is why have they chosen to do it now ??!!!! (o8 | arty
16/5/2008 13:11 | much better to use this thread indeed. The only way i can explain the volatility in the share price is the lack of fundamental news from the company. The H2 last year share price reaction was clearly a combination of forced selling and the company abandoning its earlier strategy focused on Mid and small sized businesses. The KPN deal looks promising though and the CEO looks like an impressive character (based on his resume). Let's hope the group publishes a trading statement in June so that we can start to get some ground under our feet. | magnerita
16/5/2008 12:49 | There......far less negative than the previous thread heading ( -8 | arty
16/5/2008 12:48 | Intersting to note that the online limits are set at maximum buy 10,000 shares and maximum sell 25,000 shares, which kinda suggests to me that we've just been subjected to an enormous "tree shake"!!! As an aside, I don't suppose it makes that much difference, but this thread title does have a very negative emphasis. I therefore propose making any further posts on one of the earlier headings which I'll dig up right now. | arty
16/5/2008 09:42 | warmsun........ )o8 Well it's certainly resulted in plenty of action, all be it of the wrong type. I'm still intrigued as to what has been going on behind the scenes which has created such volatility. For now I'm prepared to sit and watch it play out. | arty
16/5/2008 09:28 | Arty, How do you read this recent fall? | warmsun |
