The pricing of ARTA on the market appears to me most unusual-in that it always seems to sit at the top end of the spread at any one time.Depends on the MM of course,but my final quote on Friday was 53-56, and yet,in line with my observation,the closing price was set at 56pence.Most unusual! Anyone any ideas on the background to this peculiarity?

Monday morning:-sale at 53--purchase @ 56 pence, yet the price(for now)=56p!!!
Surely therefore the first S.P. movement MUST be downwards??

according to the short term trend (blue line) it could end anywhere between 58.5 - 65p ish.

So KPN are themselves a possible bid target.The rumoured takeover would(imo)be tremendous news for ARTA,as Telefonica would provide a route into MAJOR European markets.Knowledge that the news was about to be aired could have been behind recent market strength--which could well now gather pace.

All three moving averages have now crossed on the ARTA chart giving a very bullish signal.Can anyone explain the recently announced "price monitoring extension"?I have read about the auction process,yet it means little to me.

Up 18 pence over the past few days.Re-trace by 33% = 6 pence.Hopefully, the upward trend will re-establish tomorrow.(or even today!!)

Looking at it with rose-tinted specs, it would only take 15k buys to get us back to 57p on the offer.

Questions indeed. What we do know is volume is still low, I have bought in of late on back of good rises from low volume just hope I haven't be premature. Will hold my nerve for now and see what happens.

cool runnings-"Very very easy"(re:-levering of tecnology)seems a bit TOO easy-if you know what I mean.IF or when ARTA secure a similar contract-in size,and hopefully euros-to the KPN deal,then we can get excited.....++re the options, you are right on the money there--1,963,946 exercisable @ 73.5pence until 2010.Thats some carrot to drive the S.P. above £1.00.When the options are taken up it will also provide ARTA with a useful cash injection of circa £1.5million.
