24/9/2002 11:45 | On a bid basis AKI have now lost some 31% *since consolidation*, consolisation price 23p - current bid price 16p | mark p
24/9/2002 11:00 | Agreed, maybe at £100k there is value. Not convinced though. ONL won't want to take back 100% again and the issue of who actually OWNS their rights is not properly clarified... Wouldn't get too interested if I were you. touch | touch2002
23/9/2002 16:17 | Be back down at 2p (before the revaluation before you know it). May be worth buying at 5p | britishbear
28/8/2002 08:29 | took a while for holders to realise. Everetts and their ilk have a habit of ceasing trading and reappearing with a new name, helps to re-con the 'new'/old mugs. touch | touch2002
16/8/2002 09:00 | Looks like ONL wants its money back as predicted in the first post - this has turned into a nasty whiff. | analyst
22/7/2002 19:46 | Is that the same Everetts who sold them to mugs at 10p a share after buying them themselves for a fraction of that price? | chef
22/7/2002 18:49 | if you bought thru everett fiancial, they are no longer trading, you need to find another broker | sprinterman
30/6/2002 18:46 | Just felt the old title was becoming innapropriate, preventing discussion of one of ONL's less appealing offspring, 1) AKI owes ONL £820,000 - repayable on demand (ie plug can be pulled anytime) 2) AKI doesn't seem to own the rights to the football titles it is publishing shame its too poorly valued already to short! all imho, touch | touch2002
25/6/2002 01:24 | Don't quite understand ths companies game plan. So much hype over their (ONL+AKI) plans to roll out the individual club games for the major football clubs in Europe, beyond Glasgow and Celtic. However, just after they announced their plans Codemasters put out a press release annoncing that they had just exclusively signed Real Madrid, Manu, Juve Barcelona, L/Pool etc etc. End of Story! No Business Plan for Akaei. Also - be very wary about the equity funding facility that ONL is going to be relying on via GEM Global Yield Fund. Look what happened to Rage | sir_gawain
19/6/2002 00:43 | Why is it going down Why so many sells | spiritworld
10/6/2002 11:11 | Morning all | spiritworld
10/6/2002 10:34 | Just noticed a little something on the on-line website - maybe everyone knows this -. Akaei are not producing the celtic/rangers etc football games, they are paying ONL owned 'smoking gun' productions! humm since ONL own a majority of AKI I suppose it doesn;t bother them, would bother me though if owned AKI! regards, touch | touch2002
29/5/2002 13:02 | Yippee - I could buy at 1.75p today.... This one gets to be a bigger "bargain" by the minute... | pinsticker
29/5/2002 11:22 | 100,000 @ .75p. Another grateful Hoodlum client. | jonc
27/5/2002 15:09 | Saw Toon Cars in Woolworths in Germany, but no mention of Akaie on the box. Presumably, some one else has the distribution rights in Germany, so they wouldnt get any money ? And was it a Spanish company who developed the software ? | fft
20/4/2002 00:54 | Having said that, the game does claim 'over 25 stats per player' though it doesn't look like it from the screenshots. | stewjames
20/4/2002 00:49 | Oh dear. Regardless of whether or not he's telling the truth the game looks absolutely rubbish. Football management game fans tend to be divided into two categories - those who want "realism", which basically means shed loads of player stats, and those who want to see the on the pitch action. Judging by the screen shots on the website these games have neither. Appeal looks limited to the most ardent fans or unknowledgable dads buying the games in the club shop for their kids. Certainly £30 is a ridiculous pricepoint considering the competition (Championship manager and the FIFA management game, whatever it's called) are cheaper and seem to be far superior games. | stewjames
20/4/2002 00:33 | I expect he is making it up. | johndee
19/4/2002 19:11 | Johndee and fft A very well known retailer with many stores in scotland has had a 25% return rate on these games. DYOR and try the game out but these shares are not going north soon. | therealrookie |
