fiachra - well, it is interesting that it’s not an operations guy they’ve put on the board I have to say. That’s what I’d have normally expected rather than a legal/corporate.

The zinc looks a hell of a lot more interesting than the gold, but in light of what happened at CGNR recently, maybe I should dust off that bias and look again re: Au.

The lead/zinc at StonePark looks like it could be a real winner though, especially with Glencore all over Group Eleven like a cheap suit...

Was interesting that an ex-Glencore bod (was General Counsel) has joined the Board of G11. It definitely looks like something will happen here re the Zinc assets. JT was coy about on the interview the other day (other than on the timing of G11's operational plans (by end of August), but maybe the plan is for Arkle to exit Zinc in some sort of deal to raise funds and focus on gold. They're are just a minnow but are spread out all over the country with their assets. It looks like the terms of their minority interest in Stonepark are in their favour whatever happens (no doubt G11's new bod will be looking at that too).

fiachra - near term driver is StonePark. When 26% Glencore owned Group Eleven start drilling that could be the catalyst for more interest here. Any gold is a long way off imo.

don’t think the mkt gives a monkeys about the gold, the zinc/lead at Stonepark may be a different kettle of fish.

Not drilling like most do , just digging holes.

They got a student to dig some holes about 5 years ago and they are back to do it again ?

Presumably that will be it for this year.... dig some holes take samples away , wait for some "lab" time , watch "winter" set in , give out some vague statement to the market, raise more money, organise the Xmas card list , and come back next year with "targets" for trenches.......

Hey its progress right?

Who knows in 10-20 years they may hire a drill.......or something .....

Who knows, it's all a bit quiet but presumably they are looking for cash out deals too. I think that was the idea all those years ago. Pitch up next to the big guys, wait for prices to rise while doing the odd drill in the meantime and boom, Bob's your uncle. So, they've been sitting it out quite a while, bums must be getting a bit sore, share price rock bottom is now the time?
