New star Hedge fund announced a holding of 13 million on the 12/9 and have bought 15 million shares since then!!!

I can't find any record of purchases by New Star Asset management but they have 8 million shares, making a total of 36 million shares!

They have obviously been hoovering up all the Institutional sells. West LB, along with Nomura, are now under the notifiable 3% limit, but note the connection between West LB and New Star on todays RNS announcements???

Also note New Star has a " non beneficial interest " and are therefore buying on behalf of a client! This means that someone can build up a VERY large stake and still remain anonymous.

Now, I wonder who that might be !?!



Remember, with the MMs it's all 'smoke and mirrors', but it looks to me like the 'End game' is approaching!

If you look on the intra day chart the 2 x 1 million transactions say sells at 13:30 ish. Which matches the fall in the share price. Yet on the trade window the trades are recorded at 15:30

Can anoyone explain this?

I agree.

I would rather see the company either bought out for 35-40p now, or carry on as they are for a while longer in anticipation of a cyclical upturn in the chip sector.

i'm sure all the people who bought ark in the last few months are pleased to have some money given back by the company, but that money was supposed to drive the co forward untill it was profitable.What would you rather have 5p a share returned or hold on and see if the company ride out the slump that every tech stock is going through.if you think they are going to return the whole 100,000,000 your in dream land. stu

did you all know that ARC has a surplus or £105,000,000 sitting in their bank?
Even rivals like ARM does not have this sum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
