26/11/2004 09:37 | PARIS (AFX) - Arcelor SA chief executive Guy Dolle said the group is studying the possibility of delivering steel to Nissan Motor Co in Japan, after a shortfall of steel forced the Japanese car maker to cut production at three sites in its home country. "We already deliver lots of steel to Nissan, in Europe or in Mexico, and we are in the process of seeing, with their management, how we could send a few thousand tonnes per month to Japan in the coming months," Dolle said in an interview with France Info radio. Dolle said he met with Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn in Japan to discuss the possibility of new steel deliveries last week. paris@afxnews.com afp/js/cw | ![]() maywillow |
