08/5/2013 15:03 | Disappointing to see continued weakness in the share price despite everything that has gone to plan and the POG not died like those over the pond wanted. I would think that Marcus Engelbrecht resigning may be partly to blame but there is in my view nothing to be of concern in this other than he wishes to move onto a new challenge. | ![]() yorgi
03/5/2013 10:21 | The recent press seems to have attracted some new interest here but AR. is still cheap at this price. So far the company have done what they said they would do and that has got to be a plus. Growing production, looking for further acquisitions and the added bonus of paying a dividend early in the life of the company all make it a good buy in my view. | ![]() yorgi

01/5/2013 17:38 | nametrade/yorgi - I note fom the 2012 Interim Report that - "Archipelago is also advancing exploration projects in Vietnam and the Philippines." From 2012 Chairman's Report - "Building on our reputation for delivering results, we will also continue to assess value accretive options for broader corporate expansion." From the 2012 CEO's statement - Outlook and strategy "Archipelago will also pursue opportunities for collaboration in the gold sector, with particular emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region." It may be worth noting that Archipelago have an option to acquire an 80% interest in various tenements currently held by Corplex Resources in the Philippines - PT Rajawali Corporation, as the majority shareholder, will probably be the deciding factor in the general direction taken by the company. There is no denying that a variety of promising gold assets, some in production and some at the last hurdle before production, are currently trading at bombed out or severely undervalued prices - even including MML. Asia-Pacific essentially implies Vietnam, PNG or Philippines. Corporate action in the Philippines would not surprise me although I don't expect anything in a hurry. However, any window of opportunity to acquire MML at anything like the current valuation may be short lived if that company makes good on its near-term forecast of 200Kozpa. | ![]() boadicea
01/5/2013 13:08 | If the ADVFN trades list is correct and I know it is can't be taken as definite then it would appear the MM's quite happy to take all the small sells.........a bigger buyer waiting perhaps....Speculati | ![]() yorgi

30/4/2013 15:59 | Most goldies I follow excepting Centamin and Shanta have seen steep falls again today. HUI well off too. As Gold has remained relatively static in the 1,460 to 1,475 range one must assume that Gold is about to be smashed down again. We shall see. Meanwhile USD got whacked this afternoon after the worst Chicago PMI numbers in over 3 years came in at 49.0....a contraction. QE to even more infinity...lol | ravenheart
