personally I wouldn't wait, beacsue the only thing that will come next from the company is more firing blanks. follow by running out of cash and offering more discounting shares to the market.

just think deeply , if apatmer twch were so good, many pharma companies would have jumped in to sign deals and not walk away.. they've been and seen it and walked away, what does this tell you??

aptamer tech maybe a slight cheaper than antibodies but not as proven. many many pharmaceutical companies simply not taking the risk of changing supplier / method.
cash will burn though until end of 2024, then what???

The company has annualised costs of £3.6m or £300k pcm.

They have £2.1m in the bank.

That's all costs covered with no income for 7 months until August 2024.

They have £1.4m of contracts signed which is just over 4 months money.

That takes them to Dec 24 which is well into FY25 as they have stated (not 2025 calendar yr as some lazy reading is saying).

So any new deal from now extends the 'runway' by 1 month for each £300k of value and they have 11 months of cash/business to go on.

as I said before the drop from 1.1p. their product is simply not a game changer.. I lost 12k in this buying from Higgs 6p and lows 1.2p. only found out from people in the biotech business who been to see their aptamer tech ( one of many leads) saying it's not a game changer tech, and too risky to change from a proven antibody method to their method to make a drugs.

Statements like these don't instilled confidence."Revenue for H1 FY24 is now anticipated to come in at approximately £0.3 million (H1 FY23: £1.0 million).""The Company expects to progress the £1.4m of signed work and a proportion of the additional £1.5m of advanced stage sales pipeline through the laboratory before the end of the financial year, subject to target material being delivered by customers in a timely manner and scientific attrition.  Accordingly, the Company expects to deliver less than market expectations, in terms of fee-for-service revenue, for the full year."

You will find the cash runway is dependant on getting the deals signed . Problem here is that dilution is never far away and the share price is so low that another fund raise would be crippling even worse than the last one . For that reason this is looking extremely risky now .

£2.1m of cash, every deal signed from now onwards pushes that cash cushion forward into FY25. One or two medium/larger deals and they're in the clear.
Now we watch to see if anyone increases their stake/or not.

That explains the drop end of last week tbh not great news as they are low on cash and not signing deals fast enough so will need to raise money end of this year probably and that depends on if the deals they think will get signed happen or not .

The main news is that they have a cash runway well into 2025 that is good news. GLA

my worry is not about future placings.. my worry is about out of 100s of lead, there has not been a great amount of parties interested.
the more placings , the more money they get, the more cash they burn...
I invested hoping that aptamer tech would a game changer in the biotech world. I'm afraid all the other pharma companies see it differently.

You could be right as it could be a placing at a lower price than close on Friday.I don't think it would be too much lower though.
