02/10/2012 10:18 | Taken another look at this. Difficult to work out what is going on. They said the offer for the polymer business was at a discount to the share price (£1.25) but did not say it was a significant discount as they might have if it had been. They are looking into selling the heart valve which some have described as the company's best asset. What else is there and can this management deliver some value here? If they don't it suggests to me they are either one of the biggest bunch of AIM muppets ever or they are deliberately planning on running the company into the ground. Given that someone said their interests were aligned with shareholders (seems a novelty on AIM) I might take a small position here and see what unfolds. | loverat
01/10/2012 14:09 | clearly not a lot narindg as 11 parties have walked away from an outright purchase. I think the most we might get out of this is somewhere around 90-100p which is a far cry from what I thought a few months ago but still 80% higher than it is now. | papillon88
01/10/2012 13:58 | Well i think this co is sitting at a silly price.. if the polymer business say is 60p .. what about the rest!! | narindg
01/10/2012 11:23 | We know an offer for the polymer business was received at a discount to the closing price of £1.25 what we dont know is at what price, is it £1.20 or 10p. My guess it was around 60p which is the price that mms have valued the company at. That said, at this price the company is now valued at under £3 million which has to be cheap considering there is interest in the polymer business | papillon88
01/10/2012 08:16 | selling was over done lasy week .. this could shoot up with a small buys.. | narindg
29/9/2012 10:53 | On second thoughts - don't bother answering. Just read back the last few hundred or so posts and seems the expectations here were largely based on hype and hot air. This company is probably worthless to shareholders. | loverat
28/9/2012 17:18 | Evening all The share price has taken quite a beating here lately. Have read up on the sales process etc and funding requirments by end of October but is this not a bit of an overeaction from where the share price was a few months ago? Anyone have any idea on what the possible offer for the asset mentioned in the RNS might be - or what this company is worth? They say the offer for the asset is at a 'discount' to yesterday's shareprice. | loverat
28/9/2012 13:18 | That's about it then? I don't see how the business can possibly be sold now...the best that can happen is there is a liquidation which will yield something for shareholders. How it could possibly take 6 months to 'suddenly discover' you have no bids (or serious interest!) WHATSOEVER for the company, having rather grandiosely announced this as being the 'strategy' demonstrates an exasperating level of incompetence and sustained judgement that has been unbridled by reality. In the light of this damming situation I am sceptical as to why the Directors have recently announced they have backed the 'fundraising'....I trust this is not a device to 'make a decent turn' and extract possible polymer sale/liquidation proceeds in preference to the long-suffering shareholders for whom there seems now to have little chance of being able to sell. So, the bottom line is the Board hired top people to sell the company and NOBODY is interested in buying it. For all the previous BB chat and speculation and the Directors' postulations there was NEVER any material upside value in the St Jude IP.... as this had been wrapped up a long time ago..and it was all hype which the Directors themselves were happy to propogate and actually seemed to believe! Dangerously incompetent? Clearly! I fear we can expect more shocking judgements and dubious actions as the inevitable brick wall comes hurtling towards the company. Hopefully someone who has been to the AGM will post that it's not that bad....but I fear it is...and who could believe what was/is said anyway? The worst part of it is feeling conned. | bearfoot
28/9/2012 12:16 | directors have played a blinder here.... | the prophet
28/9/2012 12:11 | Is that the one you were looking for? | loverat
27/9/2012 12:04 | Maybe an RNS tomorrow morning. Thought it would have been before now though.... | gac141
27/9/2012 11:08 | Such a critical time for the company. Why arent shareholders being updated regarding the sale process or fundraising options. | papillon88
25/9/2012 16:35 | An interesting report from AIT ... They are going into Voluntary Liquidation which seems slightly premature to me if I were an AIT shareholder. Strange that the AOR Chairman is willing to relinquish control over AIT's shares. Perhaps his logic is that he will be involved in the current AOR fundraising but heaven forbid there should need to be another one then he will be able to walk away ? Who knows ... | deswalker
24/9/2012 12:44 | looks like its a roll | papillon88
24/9/2012 12:38 | Interesting share transaction........ | gac141
21/9/2012 18:04 | Someone buys the company? | harrogate
21/9/2012 17:01 | Goodness....someone actually bought some of these today! Whatever next? | bearfoot
21/9/2012 14:15 | funny you should say that GAC, I only have 6500 shares left and I went on to sell them this morning and my broker suggested I also hold on as he felt something might be going on behind the scenes. | papillon88
21/9/2012 14:06 | Not so sure... Let us see what comes out next week AGM and all that.. | gac141
21/9/2012 08:25 | Looks to me like the writing is on the wall | papillon88
13/9/2012 13:39 | Talk about killing expectations. Are these people novices? I demand some clarity before the AGM. | 1400
12/9/2012 08:12 | The large shareholders have not been very vocal either. | tadders2
11/9/2012 21:07 | I totally agree. There has always been a lack of communication here, the new guy knows it and he needs to perform. | 1400
11/9/2012 19:26 | Communication is king. The market needs some sort of update to show competitive Co's what is up. | 1prophet
11/9/2012 17:44 | No sense but no support either. I think given they stated they would need a fundraising they need to tell us all what it is ...the longer it goes on the more uncertainty we have. If they have some great offers coming our way they are certainly managing to keep it under wraps given the lack of buying. I understand the need to follow rules but they need to communicate here I think | harrogate |
