12/7/2012 13:13 | why all the declarations? | papillon88
12/7/2012 07:54 | There are certainly a few 1% holders who should be declaring soon that haven't done so yet per the list above | harrogate
11/7/2012 22:15 | Gobsmacked! | 1400
09/7/2012 11:18 | Coverage in Minneapolis press no doubt due to George ... | deswalker
05/7/2012 17:52 | thanks bearfoot. | abc125
05/7/2012 14:13 | Someone is picking up stock- What do they know? | 1prophet
05/7/2012 13:58 | Own a token few of these. Whats the average price paid by the directors for their holdings? That will give us some idea of what price the company could be potentially sold for. My suspicion is that an offer will be forthcoming but not at a premium to where the share price was trading at b4 the announcement. Hence the need to get the price down and offer say a 50% premium? Just a thought. | abc125
04/7/2012 17:09 | Email them. That is best... | gac141
04/7/2012 16:54 | thanks gac, If we could somehow get confirmation of that by the company then picking up stock at these levels is a no brainer | papillon88
04/7/2012 15:22 | I was told by two different directors in the last 8 months the IP was safe. | gac141
04/7/2012 15:10 | Gac,Des Do either of you know what would happen to the IP if by Oct Aor has not secured funding or sold parts or the entire business | papillon88
04/7/2012 14:52 | All the holding RNSs coming out now. | deswalker
04/7/2012 14:48 | Interest from the States? Certainly some would say the shares have been unfairly hit by a poorly written statement. The fundamentals are the same. | gac141
04/7/2012 12:27 | Complete over-reaction to the announcement. Is now the time to pick up some cheap shares? | 1prophet
04/7/2012 10:08 | AIT hold 18.45% (I think)!! Surely they must be the largest holder (and are a declared seller) and therefore represent the best and very straightforward opportunity for someone to take a chunky/strategic position should they want to acquire (or 'play') the business off-line? | bearfoot
04/7/2012 09:57 | can buy 10k on-line 243.....can only sell 100 (240p)....so nobody wants these so very much looks like going lower....and will not stop until someone makes a bid or belatedly takes a position/interest... | bearfoot
04/7/2012 09:50 | market cap now £11.8 mil with an IP as valuable as optim dont quite get it and to make things worse my broker just called to say that 2 mms have called this morning trying to sell stock :( Has to be something fundamentally wrong with contract between SJM and AOR | blefh182
04/7/2012 07:42 | It could be interesting over the next 10 days as the 1% shareholders declare..wonder if there are any surprises? | harrogate
03/7/2012 20:50 | I said it would drop to £2.7 and then any bidding will be a premium of about 60% as is standard with takeovers in the medical arena. I can see between £4.70 and £5 per share as perhaps a decent offer. KK | k1ngkonggb
03/7/2012 14:18 | I spoke to the company ref this 6 months ago and was told by directors that there was a loophole here so it is not something to you worry about.Piper Jaffray would not waste their time on this if it were the case. | gac141
03/7/2012 13:58 | Marl.. I am sure you are absolutely right on the StJ clauses in the contract BUT have you seen the rivalry between the large device companies in the US? That and the value created or destroyed for StJ shareholders by stories of lead issues and the fact that $ billions of value is wrapped up in the use of Optim on the new leads. They will not risk not owning it for the sake of £20m even if the contract states Medtronic would have to keep supplying .. It would be madness.. That is the bull case and I believe it but still think they have messed up the announcement today or that the discussions to date with others have not been as fruitful as hoped. | harrogate
03/7/2012 13:51 | 1400, Piper Jaffray will do anything if they getting paid for it | blefh182
03/7/2012 13:49 | Are shareholders entitled to the information regarding the contract between AOR and SJM | papillon88
03/7/2012 13:47 | I just don't see Piper Jaffray taking this on unless there is a lot more to Aortech's value than the current valuation. Also, they haven't just come out of the woodwork I believe they have known Aortech for quite a number of years. | 1400 |
