Not at all.Just nothing to say here.Sp swings on AOR are always big because there are so few shares in circulation.Holding for the end game. Whenever that comes

Quiet start on the board this AM despite release of research note. I am guessing a few sold out during the recent decline.

Detailed 16 page initiation from Dr Andy Smith at Equity Development , freely available here :

Concludes:
After many years in the making, AorTech is now in the right place at the right time – as demonstrated by the many historical transactions that have taken place in the heart
valve and graft space – for the company to generate significant value. Our sum of the
parts valuation for AorTech suggests that there could be much further to run than in the share price appreciation in the last year as this value becomes recognised.
We value AorTech at £99.2m or 676p per share.

In case anyone is wondering about the apparent continued selling, today’s trades at 75.55 (2k) and 75.75 (7.5k) were certainly purchases. I was watching the quotes online and those prices were available at the relevant times. I could still buy small amounts at 77 near the close although larger amounts above 20k are quoted nearer 80.

You never know when people are going to sell in the future but these could have been bargain buys today, who can say?

If you are looking to pass the time of day, there was a new programme of “Hospital” on BBC last week and it is now on iPlayer here (until around mid-March when it gets archived):

It contains a few minutes of operation footage between minutes 7 and 12 (if you don’t mind seeing live human innards being removed) of a patient that has suffered an aortic aneurysm and has part of his aorta removed and a fabric tube (or graft?) inserted in its place.

If I am not mistaken, this type of surgical device is what Aortech/RUA Medical are currently working on. The one used in the BBC programme is presumably sealed with animal-derived by-products and it is Aortech’s intention to introduce such devices sealed by Elast-Eon polymer, thereby negating the need to rely on abattoir-sourced material.

The share-price is behaving very well IMHO it gives the long-term investor a chance to top up on any pullback, bones has it spot on above.

NET IS WELL WORTH FILTERING

Put it this way, Net, barely 1% of the company’s shares changed hands over last two weeks IN TOTAL. 60k bought, 110k sold approximately, most buyers picking up potential bargains in the 80p region. Sellers have been dropping out small amounts daily as the MM’s marked prices down after each one. Bit of a shake down there.

I would expect a similar multiplier effect on share price movement in the event of positive sentiment, whenever that comes.

Let’s hope Bill Brown and David Richmond have had a decent week in California!

Judging by recent trade activity, it seems as though boredom has set in with some of our shareholders.

One thing longer term AOR shareholders do not lack is longer term patience!!

Does anyone know if AOR make anything that would benefit any of the elderly patients that have Coronavirus and might get damaged lungs/heart etc?
