Further to the announcement made today by AO World PLC ("AO" or the "Company") in relation to the acquisition of Mobile Phones Direct Limited (the "Acquisition"), AO announces that a circular, containing details of the Acquisition and convening a General Meeting of AO to approve the Acquisition, has been published and will be posted to shareholders of AO shortly.

The circular will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism, where it will shortly be available for inspection at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/nsm. In addition, the circular is available to view on the Company's website (https://www.ao-world.com/investor-centre/reports-and-presentations) and will be available for inspection at the offices of AO World PLC, AO Park, 5A The Parklands, Lostock, Bolton, BL6 4SD.
