01/3/2011 09:34 | Luckily for investors, Directors are not obliged to buy shares. Rather than be annoyed at ANT Directors for not buying shares, perhaps you should take it for the uniquely honest and most valuable investor signal that it is. I cannot find any record of any ANT Directors ever buying shares, so I assume they received them on flotation. Simon Woodward, CEO, owns 157,835 shares, valued at £45k. William Tudor Brown, non-exec Director, owns 28,000 shares valued at £8,208. Earns well in excess of £200,000 a year () Pauline Ingram, Finance Director, owns 22,000 shares, valued at £6,270 David Fell, Chief Technical Officer - £ ZERO John Gooch, Engineering Director - £ ZERO Matthew Lobo, Commercial Operations Director - £ ZERO Sean Kim, VP and General Manager for Asia and Russian Markets - £ ZERO While shareholders can only read the reports and then form a guess on what the company is doing and where it's going. The Finance Director READS AND WRITES the books. If they never thought it wise to buy shares in ANT, then why should you? | exotic
01/3/2011 07:39 | No excuse for the directors not to buy @ these levels & show us investors that they firmly belive in the future. | cocker
28/2/2011 07:37 | No numbers given. I googled Sunplus, Taiwanese, their website seems to indicate their sales are in decline. So since ANT told us in their last update that some contract completions had been delayed, this is the first we've heard from them. No doubt there'll be more enlightenment with their results, due this month.?? Poor communicators as I've said before. | paleje

10/2/2011 18:39 | Good to see some activity here, I hope the Board don't let us down next month, we already know revenue will be down and that's ok, costs controlled cash better than expected, all we need then is a nice little statement confirming the contracts that have been carried over and some positive outlook for the future in what seems likely to be a competitive but exciting market. | paleje

09/2/2011 17:55 | I think set top boxes will be around for a long time yet, I can't imagine families ditching perfectly good recent tv's before they've got their use out of them so STBs are with us for a while, and with the different options becoming available, who'd want to restrict themselves to what their set contains or their supplier deems adequate for them? | paleje
09/2/2011 17:01 | Speculative, that just about sums up Ant. We have heard this all before, many times over the years, and it all falls on stony ground. Why anyone would buy Humax boxes, all their contents will be available in the latest TV sets coming on the markets now, these humax sets will be obsolete. | l.parker

08/2/2011 13:54 | Amino is a listed partner of ANT so lets hope some of our software is involved in their expansion:) | paleje
08/2/2011 10:25 | I notice Amino yesterday: Cambridge-based Amino Technologies (AMO), specialist in IPTV (internet protocol television) has unveiled a strong set of annual results. Once again highlights the great sector, let us hope ANT can give us some decent contracts.. | chrisdgb
02/2/2011 10:47 | ANT deal with Germany's CreNova:- The UK-based ANT Galio platform has been chosen by the Germany-based set top box manufacturer CreNova Technology to make its latest range of set top boxes, which have been designed to bring the equipment up to European standards. The latest version of set top box technology will involve the Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV standard, which is also known as the much easier to remember HbbTV Standard. CreNova intends to supply these latest and much more flexible machines throughout the European market place. The equipment will be able to offer the consumer access to catch-up TV services, video on demand and more interactive services such as longer adverts and marketing programmes. HbbTV is a sort of open source for this technology and should allow many more businesses to get involved in the development of the next great idea. | paleje
