Agree that....should be over 30p without the stock overhang..let us hope Arbuthnot can find some more buyers..

Yes,certainly puts Ant in the shop window. Bags of potential here and if it comes off, the shares should be considerably northwards of here.

I think that perhaps someone is mopping up the shares here, usual story with an Institution reducing, while another builds!

Let us hope Arbuthnot can still keep trading out the current stock overhang, it is irritatingly overshadowing the great story here.....

The two large trade reports this morning 12 seconds apart were off-market transactions / technical manoeuvres, and would have no direct effect on the share price.

The 11,250 BUY would.

Somebody likes them, fair buying today on an otherwise bad day.

"But if a company does have something good to offer then...."

That's a good question, though I would go a bit further.

a) Does ANT have something good to offer? If so, then it might trundle along like most other businesses, trying to avoid fatal errors and running out of cash for as many years as possible.

b)Or does ANT have something quite spectacular to offer? I have watched ANT since it listed, and seen no evidence of them having anything spectacular to offer whatsoever. It's not as if they haven't been given the time and money to do it.

Interesting comments on Proactive:

The business model involves having part of the ANT Galio Move software bundled in the digital TV (or set-top box) with the other part of the software being installed on the companion device (or devices). Users simply pay a fee to download the ANT Galio Move application to their device.

Woodward told Proactive Investors that the payment for the downloaded application will not be a trivial fee of a few pennies, such as you might pay for an iPhone app, but one that will be more in the order of 10 pounds. "You are doing this specifically to enhance the capability of your television or set-top box," he explained.

The revenues from this stream will be shared between ANT and its device manufacturer partners.

Woodward it upbeat on how ANT Galio Move will affect the firm's revenues. "I expect it to have a material impact next year," he said, while pointing out that the Harvard and Freesat deals should also lead to greater revenues.

Meanwhile, ANT's house broker Arbuthnot Securities noted that the results should there had been "a significant increase in the amount of customer-led development work which augurs well for the future". The broker also pointed out that ANT's shares – at around 20.5 pence each – were only trading at a small premium to the £4.1 million net cash position that Arbuthnot has estimated for the firm by the end of 2011.

All the while directors earning generous salaries from shareholders - whether it fails or not. Seen it all before so many times on AIM.

Weasel words again, the directors do it every time. If they have something good to say about the future they would say it plainly, instead of 'putting at the heart of', 'positioning for the future', 'development roadmap' etc which drivel or similar can be found in most of their previous releases.

Product's good but the management's not delivering or, if it is or is about to, it's not making it clear enough to shareholders imo.

Results out this morning, very positive comments....will take a look in more detail, but business like this are normally 1.5x/2x revenues so should be 50p-60p...bang in line with Arbuthnot forecasts....underwritten by virtually all market cap in cash..

Nice to see the mention in the Times, also in the Mail:

ANT edged up a penny to 20.5p on news it is launching a new TV product – the ANT Galio move – which allows users to stream live and recorded TV directly from a set-top box or TV to a tablet device, such as an Apple iPad.

Looks fantastic, need some institutional buying....
