gkb47: yes, or B shares, each with 100x the votes of each ordinary share, there’s a number of ways of doing it. If the current interim MD suddenly discovers a seam of competence, and does as he’s told, he may manage to draw his salary for a bit longer.

They still need that working capital buffer too, and I’m sure Mercuria will be keen to get it. Why do people still hold this? The moving finger wrote on the Chiswick office wall a long time ago.

gkb47: I expect the loan terms to stipulate release of funds as and when needed and subject to Mercuria’s specific approval, not a day one release of £12mm. Given the reference to “profile”; of the 30mm. shares to be given to the lenders, I expect these shares to give the lenders effective control. That’s why I think the interim MD will be dumped if he doesn’t perform. Mercuria may want to keep Anguish going, to avoid re-doing all the licences, permissions etc. But I don’t expect a penny to be returned to Anguish shareholders. As soon as the connection from Saltfleetby to the NG pipeline at Theddlethorpe is completed and gas flows, Anguish may become a cash shell. They’ve been over a barrel since long before 23 September. Shareholders have been merely financing the Directors’ lifestyles since then. Kind of them, what? Absolutely. Good show.

gkb47: no, it’s over 100%!

You’re right about the CPR. Highly misleading, in my view, the updates last September and November and certainly not based on 12%+ interest, 8% revenue override and 70% of production hedged at 30p/therm! And the whole thing is another year late, so that’s another £2.5-3 million. And the pipeline cost will have been well in excess of their estimate. And what will the OGA and other regulators say about abandonment provision? And, yes, the SF007 sidetrack, whence several previous efforts have failed. And no explanation. And the whole CPR was based on information provided by Anguish.

Will we get any enlightenment this week in the form of SEL/Forum accounts?

gkb47: that’s more than 100% dilution, surely?

Going forward, Anguish is not going to make a brass farthing for shareholders, is it, whether they get to the gas or not? The interim MD will be lucky to keep his position for long, the lenders will have the whip hand.

It seems the PR people have adopted a common policy for both sites. Your new LankashireLifeTM lookalike may be the same as the one infesting this site.

..re the detail of the loan agreement, I’m going to be looking for the “profile”; of the shares to be issued to the lenders as well.

JA51: it’s just an option that AAOG has. Depends on a whole lot of approvals which look as if they may take ages. These debenture registrations detailing the security demanded by the lenders (but not the terms of the loan) between SEL and Angus on the one side and the parties of the second part on the other, will need to be considered by AAOG’s management. Are they jumping out of the frying pan..? Anguish and SEL have signed these documents but the documents don’t constitute the loan document, do they? Where is the interest rate, the interest and capital repayment terms, the % financed by Mercuria/Aleph etc? When will we see these? Have they been agreed? It’s 1 June on Tuesday. Five and a half months’ delivery time for kit takes you to mid-November. First gas in Q4? Perhaps by then the lenders will have appointed a permanent MD with some oil and gas experience.

There’s a particularly misleading post on the other site this morning. You can identify the shills quite easily, can’t you? If shareholders here can’t see that there’s nothing left in it for them, whether they ever get to first gas at Saltfleetby or not, they’re likely to lose their remaining investment.

Morning all.
Just as a side note AAOG hasn't had a charge put on their account yet. If they are going to own 25% of Saltfleetby energy and benefit from that tax break you would have thought they would have had something applied?.... Perhaps the vote has been delayed?

Gkb47, Mirasol: odd that this intern, whom we have likened to LankashireLifeTM, went quiet on here as your new contributor was starting up over there.. Has he/she managed to find a way of automating these posts or is he/she spending the whole of his/her time on it?
