I agree with your comments on Poly4, Troc.
An agronomist friend tells me that it is superior to anything else currently available.
Unfortunately he invested too soon and lost his money on Sirius. A lesson in the perils of investing in early stage mining developments, no matter how promising they seem! |
In my opinion Bhp will be hard pressed buying AA at the previous bid price of around 29.5 gbp made (and rejected by AA) earlier in 2024. Once the sale of Anglo plats and demerger of De Beers diamonds is complete, I can see BHP paying a huge premium, way above 30gbp for AA, to get their hands on their CU assets. I also think the premium Iron ore deal with Vale will eventually generate exceptional value for AA.I just hope that the Woodside crop nutrient project won't continue to drain the coffers too much before it comes into production. For those who don't know much about the prospects of polyhalite fertiliser, I suggest you do some research, as it's going to revolutionise the fertiliser industry with the crop yields achievable. Personally I'm very happy that AA have held onto this project. |
29-30 coming here |
Jefferies have raised AAL from hold to buy with a 2850 price target.
Explains yesterday but at the same time will make the likes of BHP sit up and take notice.
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
Well, tufty, it's broken freeeeeee of 2500.Happy days coming soon. |
Yeah it's cleaning up its act and the likes of BHP have got to be taking notice.
DLG has been a pain trade for me, until a few days ago, and AAL has been too really so maybe there is a chance takeover news could return here very soon also 🤞🏻
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
The smell of leeks in the air 🤔 |
Yeah it does seem that way doesn't it 🤞🏻
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
Something brewing? |
Hopefully a break and hold of 2500 isn't too far away now 🤞🏻
Good luck all 👍🏻 |

What's the ticker for it on lse |
RNS confirms that AngloPlats will have a secondary listing on the LSE. Marvellous. |
Deutsche Bank raises Anglo American's price target to 2,900 pence, rating 'buy |
Well rogue lets just hope that, like Nellie, this particular elephant packs her trunk and says goodbye to the circus! |
good step but the elephant in the room is de beers. once that is gone and a low price may surprise some people, it should put a floor under the shares regardless. but shifting de beers at the price they want/mkt expecting is going to be a big ask imo. |
Indeed, tufty. One step closer to becoming the company that BHP want to acquire. |
Another step in the right direction following todays release.
Good luck all 👍🏻 |

One day it will certainly go into production.
The questions are, when, at what cost and the %, if any, that Anglo still own.
Maybe Anglo, having been taken over, won't exist at that time.
But it's too valuable a resource not to be exploited and as such it has value.
