Success in production can turnaround AAOG to be profitable in 2020

Anglo African Oil & Gas plc’s (LON:AAOG): Anglo African Oil & Gas plc, an oil and gas company, extracts and explores for natural resources in the United Kingdom and the Republic of the Congo. The UK£16m market-cap posted a loss in its most recent financial year of -UK£11.7m and a latest trailing-twelve-month loss of -UK£11.7m shrinking the gap between loss and breakeven. Many investors are wondering the rate at which AAOG will turn a profit, with the big question being “when will the company breakeven?” Below I will provide a high-level summary of the industry analysts’ expectations for AAOG.

Check out our latest analysis for Anglo African Oil & Gas

According to the industry analysts covering AAOG, breakeven is near. They anticipate the company to incur a final loss in 2019, before generating positive profits of UK£17m in 2020. So, AAOG is predicted to breakeven approximately a few months from now. What rate will AAOG have to grow year-on-year in order to breakeven on this date? Using a line of best fit, I calculated an average annual growth rate of 94%, which signals high confidence from analysts. Should the business grow at a slower rate, it will become profitable at a later date than expected.

AAOG can now produce 800 b/d of light, sweet crude (39 - 41 API) with value of Brent, from upper horizons. Breakeven cost is only $35 per barrel.

they go for Djeno to produce
above 3000 b/d, where production and storage are in place with sufficient capacity.

The site of Tilapia is located close to multi-billion-barrel fields that include the ENI-operated Litchendjili field and the 5,000bopd Minsala Marine field.

The lower Mengo sands has gross contingent resources of 8.1m barrels and a deeper exploration prospect of 58.4m barrels.

At production rate of 2000 bopd and Brent $61 we can expect revenue of $45 million per year with margin of almost $20 million.

AAOG is very...very...very cheap at market cap of £9.2 million right now. 👍

See John Henry and I timed our re investment here along the same time.

In the RNS:

"The isolation plug will be set in preparation for removal of the completion tree which will be replaced by subsurface apparatus more appropriate for drilling and to allow installation of the blow-out preventers ahead of the rig arriving on location."

The well is alive with high pressure oil from Djeno. This will allow the pressure to be bled off before removing completion tree and installing BOP's. No need to kill the well with drilling mud as the oil is leaking past 20 ft cement plug at bottom. This isolation plug can be drilled off with the drilling string.

Strange. They slate this stock and talk it down...but they have an agenda to buy it heavily on the lows. The same people who talked it down end up being heavy buyers. You can see the demand on that piece of news, there is a lot of money waiting to pour into aaog....not such a bad company after all, as they've had you believe for several months.Rofl.
