My hairdresser asked me about a good stock tip. I'll tell him about AGL at around 50 to 60p

There's no shortage of dummies selling Angle shares

Look at how many people were dumping Friday morning. Friday afternoon they started regretting

So you might just get an opportunity to buy some cheap ones. Happy to join you

The reason behind taking equity stake would protect Astra in the event of another company trying to buy Angle

And if any one of Angles tests becomes a companion diagnostic for one of Astras cancer drugs, they will benefit by owing shares in Angle because they will be paying Angle lots of money for the privilege

Win Win

I'm hoping for an early share price shake tomorrow morning so I can get some more a bit cheaper. Then enjoy the ride.

Any early stage funding talks will probably involve Astra

They will be first in the queue to take an equity stake

Saves going to various brokers or investors that will just flip placing shares for a quick profit

If I were short I'd be closing very quickly tomorrow

ALS isn't that what the assays are doing that are being developed. It depends what the companies are looking for, specific proteins etc. The more assays that are developed the more potential business. Efficacy wil be dependants on the assay development

As for the mkt cap the market will catch on slowly at first. And as it's pretty dire for everyone it's an oppurtunity to buy in cheap at the early stages

I guess it depends what you mean by efficacy? Parsortix appears capable of capturing single CTC's from quite a small blood draw, but wouldn't you want different tests to determine what effects a certain drug would have on a certain type of CTC?

By the way, checked my figures on AZN and I was wrong, margins and cashflow are actually pretty good all round, I'm still not sure I'd pay £180bn for it though.

That said Abbott and AZN are two companies that could pay £5bn for AGL without breaking the bank; I guess we all have to wonder why if that is likely in the near term the price is only £50m.

Boris exactly parsortix can provide valuable insight into the effectiveness of the early stage drug trials and provide information pre study. It can do this reliably and repeatedly hence is a great tool with huge value to companies developing cancer drugs. This market alone is simply huge and then there is the cell samples agl have which are invaluable. Too many have missed a lot of the work the company has done ove the last 2 years, they have radically changed their offering and now provide fully functioning kits and biophama services. The assays as they come online will be refined and can be used elsewhere.
There are simply a huge number of oppurtunities available. They have focused on big phama as they don't have the constraints of small companies who are struggling for cash. It will take time but as companies see the results and information they can gain from Parsortix an the assays in determining cancer treatment more will climb on board.
Remember illumia results in Jan that caused the spike highlighting the benefits of what agl has to offer

Imagine having a cancer drug in development and being able to test it's performance on live cancer cells before applying for fda clearance and phase tests. Invalubal and that's just one small facet of what they are offering now. The game has changed but so many seem unable to grasp that and are stuck in the past. More fool them

Question though?

AGL is fundamentally a diagnostics vehicle so isn't there also the efficacy element to consider?
with competing treatments how important is a 'proven test' to validate a 'best in class' format or is parsotix not really the system for that type of study?

Only this potentially raises other considerations.

You forget Eisai of course ALS.

But I don’t think AZ will buy Parsortix, as you say not really what AZ specialise in… No it will be a CtDNA company like Grial that need the tech to distinguish itself and add value to the tests that they already have (and charge a shed load more money for)… And have the sales/distribution force already in place so effectively can do that for free.

Given the tie ups with pharma we know about and hints of more likely to come I think think that takeover could happen within a year.

Super momentum and great write ups for a market cap of 46m. Further good news and contracts for millions of pounds and could yet see a stampede for stock.

Transparency doesn't make you any less sad for posting every day since you sold out

Beating the same placing and bad results drum

Ignoring the recent news and pipeline of news to come

Even more sad over a bank holiday weekend and late at night into early hours

See what happened to Cellectis when AZN took an equity investment only 6 months ago.

The situation here I suppose is starting to become a little clearer. The more big pharma start to show an interest the greater the chance of a potential bidding war.
FDA approval ups the ante.

Whatever happens there's some interesting times ahead. In a way the relative hush since the Jan announcements was like the calm before the storm. The recent flurry of rns' i suspect are simply an 'amuse bouche'....

Hmmm to add or not to add?
Or to sell?
Or to hold?

Gla.

@atmysignal

You sail close to the wind as you’re obviously connected to the company and tell people that big RNS’s are imminent. If I knew an RNS was due I certainly wouldn’t be telling people that on a message board to drum up support. Whats your reasons for trying to drip feed insider knowledge?

No idea what you mean re Microsoft word, i don’t use that on here. How about rather than constantly trying to assess my motivations and slate them, we all stick to analysis of the stock. Nobody has been more transparent than me.

And ffs stop trying to silence people who don’t agree with every word you say.

So when did you sell Bones, because in January you were telling people how it would rise again in January 5th to 40p. Was that whilst hovering over the sell button, ie encouraging others to buy to get a better cash out price? Is that the plan this week too?

Or go back to May4th when you accepted my concerns as valid and fair. What’s changed since then?
