ANGEL MINING PLC

("Angel Mining" or the "Company", AIM: ANGM)

Suspension to trading on AIM

The board of Angel Mining plc announces that it requested a suspension of trading in its shares on AIM. Following demands from a creditor for a payment that the Company could not meet and the threat to issue a winding-up petition, the Company has today filed an intention to appoint an administrator. The Company continues to work with its finance providers in seeking a financial restructuring. Should the Company not be able to agree a restructuring with its creditors within the next ten days, the appointment of an administrator will become effective. The Company expects to make further announcements in due course.

Very sorry to all who still hold.

I was very lucky THIS TIME and I almost bought them back Monday.
The weeks of silence spooked me fortunately.

They are insolvent by the looks but the mine will go forward, as may BAM. As to current holders the situation in complex but it you assume the worst it can only be better. Shareholders are usually at the bottom of the feeding chain if it's bust.

Live and learn...some lessons are expensive but worth it...LGB & CMR amongst others for me.

Sorry for all you holders

Cube boss encouraged some to invest in the last month by olympic ramping. He had a go at me and others for trying to put the facts. His behaviour was disgraceful.

There's a lot in what you say 99Jeremiah but it is very unlikely that ANGM will go bust.Cyrus effectively controls ANGM and as an investment company they have access to all the funds that ANGM will ever need. They offered ANGM the funding for BAM @ 15% loan rate but ANGM are looking for a better deal/method of funding.Cyrus have a member on the BoD and know ANGMs true worth.BAM is probably worth $2000m once into production and ANGM have Nalunaq aswell.ANGM also have first mover advantage in Greenland and could become a massive enterprise in time.Cyrus are well aware of this and with 577m shares in ANGM they have a lot to gain. The fact that they just leant ANGM another $1.75m rather than pushing ANGM into a placing speaks volumes and allows the share price to rise without an overhang around its neck.

This alway's makes me chuckle when posters quote
"Plenty of positive news due. GLA"

It is very seldom the case especially with ANGM

It looks like the actual dealing spread is only 0.03p,1.1p bid and 1.13p offer. The buying at 1.13p has already started.Another morning rise followed by afternoon fall and a resulting overall small rise I guess.

Your guesses are invariably inaccurate and angm continues to lose money hand over fist.

Asset rich and cash poor companies are common on AIM, and usually end in disaster for shareholders.

Why would this be any different ?

MMs are going to be put on the run here and then we should see some real large rises.(Although I am quite happy with these small daily rises).

It never happens it makes you look desperate ;)

I bet that there are a lot of ex-holders kicking themselves for not buying back in at 0.95p.It is not too late though as ANGM can rally far.Last time they rallied from 0.8p to 3p.Don't miss this rally.

granitetim
2 Aug'12 - 08:55 - 4836 of 7947 0 0

I bet there are a lot of holders that bought above 5p and watched it sink to these levels and desperately sat ramping the dead duck in the vein chance of getting out with a few quid to drop on the next debt ridden poor producing stock.
Are they buying (The rampers) Noooooooo they want Joe muggins to buy so they can sell.
LoL

Marab (re your post on wows thread),it is not the next gold pour that is driving the share price but expectations of a licence to remove some Target Block pillars.I don't expect a gold pour now to be exceptional but I expect the September onwards gold pours to be really good.

gb234 24 Jan'13 - 08:05 - 7940 of 7945 - sleveen, you may be correct for most companies but not ANGM.ANGM have an asset,BAM,which has worth and this will be used to do a deal with CYRUS.ANGM also know how to use spin to create cash for themselves from PIs.I expect that ANGM will have a consolidation of between 25:1 and 50:1 and then do placings of the Socius/Seda tap variety.Cyrus will get 75% of BAM for a $10m-$15m reduction of debt but Cyrus won't want ANGM to go to the wall and their backing will mean ANGM will return from suspension IMO.

you serious? a seda + consolidation = possibility???? - you dont consolidate with a seda open as that gives more to fall than there is - what next a leaseback arrangement? - learn the market before investing

Personally speaking I would not hold out much hope for the return of this particular stock. The reason being the main creditor holds I believe 70% of the voting rights, if my memory serves me correct.

The role of PI's (funding on jam tomorrow promises) is finished and with a debt to Cyrus of $35 million the company is technically insolvent.

I'll give NH credit in one area. This company has had a bloody good innings considering it had FA from day one.

But we shall all have to wait and see.

Pwhite, True but I was comparing it to going into administration, which is always the end for PIs. I believe it will come back into the market but it will not be good news.

HOWEVER....and there are a lot of 'ifs' coming up... if it does come back with financial restructuring which will bring BAM on line and clears most of its debts, even with consolidations and dilution, there may be no point in selling our almost worthless shares at that point but keep them in the unlikely hope that it may still work out.

To be honest I don't really rate you here. You were the biggest ramper of the stock for so long. When things did not go to plan you became the biggest deramper. The fact of the matter is the company was going down hill whilst you were ramping, the pace of decline accelerated whilst you were deramping.

Unlike myself and one or two others we were warning of this outcome when the likes of you were predicting a multi-bagger.

Will the stock ever return? who knows

JAF1948

All suspensions are temporary until an announcement is made of a return or cancellation.

As i repeatedly stated, very much like Sunkar. Alledgedly use PI's money, crash the company and their associates get it for nowt.

GB and Wilba where right, my apologies to you both.

Apology accepted. Respect to you for saying it.

I am sorry that you were deceived by the company and for what its worth. The biggest hits i have taken have all been on the back of direct contact with BOD's. Hence my knowledge of the Nick Hall types.

I sincerly hope they retrade and that you can at least break even if you are down on this.

Regards and sympathy to those with losses..
