Well giz I think RY should clarify if the TEO will still be submitted q1 despite the extension otherwise it's going to be another dose of uncertainty which would not be appreciated. I have emailed and maybe a few others have or could. Other than that, the NRR update is due. With every rns costing money maybe a TEO clarification can be done on the back of the NRR wrap up

The chart is the chart, for sure. Do I think the NRR deal and the million or so dollars in the bank mid year is enough to get this past TEO yes. As you will recall we have non binding offtake agreements which can become binding post TEO. At this point I would expect a deal that provides some funds and equally opens up debt funding. You seem to think AMC have missed the boat. Given royalty companies are just starting to sign deals in what they call the future metals arena and majors are also clear on the need to expand their pipelines and are cash rich, asset poor I'd say no we have not missed the boat, in fact the timing couldn't be better. All our family cars are fossil fuel, as are most of our friends

madengland, the problem amc now have is that they are in real danger of being too late to the party for their key markets. Most of the future big consumers of nickel have already or are in process of securing their supply chain, and given the time needed to bring a resource into production, the only chance amc have is to be a bit part player in some small niche markets IMO.

Are you seriously suggesting Amur have all the funding they need going forward purely from the relative small NRR income? and perhaps you could give some comment on why amc seems to be heading down towards the march 2020 lows ( if as you say is true that amur are funded and have no plans to have shareholders trousers down again ).

You will find no bigger bull than me on amc,s assets, but assets need good management and a talented boardroom to create value.Sadly the latter is lacking in spades hence the position it is currently in.The chart is looking very gloomy :-(

Valirix and Zephyr Energy are not on the list for the shares that will result in 100% new margin requirments on IG Index. This mean IG is still a great place to buy penny stocks.
They put shares you can not buy or sell on there like Upland Resources. Due to the market is for closing deals only. That is good news for me, since if they not offering the stock to everyone then they should not offer it at all.

Tesla Secures Long-Term Supply Of Nickel For EV Batteries
Tesla Inc
TSLA 4.86%
secured a nickel supply Thursday for use in its electric vehicle batteries after the New Caledonia government reached an agreement with Brazilian mining company Vale for the sale of its Goro Mine.

What Happened: Tesla has secured greater control over its battery metal supply chain with an agreement to buy nickel from the Goro Mine in New Caledonia.

Nickel is an important metal in the production of lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has expressed concern recently over its availability.

As part of the agreement with the government of New Caledonia, Tesla will have access to a long-term supply of nickel from the mine and will sit as a technical advisor on the project, according to a Financial times report.

Why It Matters: Nickel cathodes give density to lithium-ion batteries that's needed to provide a longer charge and greater driving range for EVs.

What is the placing for? With very little cash burn in comparison to previous years as we are not drilling, and with binding offtakes resulting from TEO, and an NRR income....As at 30 June 2020 the Company had cash reserves of US$831,000, up from US$398,000 at the start of 2020 and remains debt free.Max for a poster who claims to have held a long time, why have you not researched?

Madengland, are you on prescription medication? the only question for immediate future is how big a tube of KY jelly you will need after the next placing lands :-) it needs to be above 1.3p imvho anything near 1p or lower will kill sentiment bigtime and put even more mistrust in the ceo.Yes would be a buying opp,but we cannot keep doing the one step forward - two back routine, something has to change in the boardroom IMO

Well never say never but think maybe there's a danger of getting ahead of ourselves on that one.One thing that is clear is that there is and will continue to be a great deal of action in the exploration and streaming/royalty space. The chance of us opening up financing gets better everyday. All we need is the TEO and a binding off take to boost our valuation substantially but also opening up debt options for us if we decided to pursue development alone.World class asset.

‘Dramatic opportunity' for nickel
Executive officer base metals Mark Travers told analysts in a conference call there was "great evidence" the electric vehicle market was here and going to grow dramatically over the coming years.

"And it's going to be a dramatic opportunity for the nickel business," he said.

"While there are discussions in [and] around the form of batteries, lithium ion for sure is going to take a significant portion of that market.

"There are places for things like the lithium phosphate, iron phosphate battery, but we believe that nickel will take a preeminent position in the battery space, and it will be demanded by the industry."

He said Vale saw a "significant opportunity" in providing nickel which met strong ESG standards.

"We are seeing a lot of discussion, we're hearing a lot of discussion around the type of nickel that's being provided in terms of ESG standards, whether it's low carbon, or coming from well-regulated, well-run jurisdictions," he said.

"And so clearly we can position and we do position our nickel in the top of that spectrum."

The company also had a positive long-term outlook for copper, driven by green economy investments, and it said future supply growth was challenged given the decline in ore grades and lack of major discoveries.
