Why is this to do with Solo, Edgar? What we are waiting for is the signature on the FO agreement. Solo's ability to pay only becomes an issue after that. And they've claimed they have at least the first stages sorted cash wise.If Solo were unable to meet their commitments I'd expect ARA would be quite happy to pay their 25% of costs, and get their 25% of the asset for it (unfortunately I can't see AEX being able to afford to share in that)

yes they did, but not immediately for $5 million but for just $500,000 now and then
maybe another $500,000 with-in 12 months and then ??? on the $3 million in the future. So i don't know how far that will stretch for their share of the planed works program ?

"Pursuant to the Subscription Deed, in the coming days, the Subscriber will make an investment of US$500,000 (the "First Closing"), by way of an initial subscription for new ordinary shares of 0.2p each in the Company (the "Ordinary Shares"). The Subscriber will pay for these Ordinary Shares at First Closing and it is expected that First Closing will take place in the next seven days."

"Provided the Company satisfies certain conditions set out in the Subscription Deed, an additional investment of US$500,000 will be made by the Subscriber following the Company's next annual general meeting, and a further US$1,000,000 may be invested within the next 12 months. The Subscriber may invest a further additional US$3,000,000, with the consent of the Company only, for a total of US$5,000,000, in the aggregate, under the Subscription Deed. Further information regarding the investment facility is set out below"

Solo did announce a £5 million funding facility recently, but also believe they were looking to potentially get rid of their Tanzanian investment

I should say I dont want Solo to be screwed over. Loyal partners to Aminex and helpful with actual cash in the past. But the reality is the Tz Govt is entitled 5o ask how the works will be paid for and for 25% of those works the answer is unclear. Probably leading to complex multi party negotiations right now.

The holdup is not Aminex/Ara but Solo and how they can pay, IMHO.

They paid money they didn't feel they owed, to the Tanzanian govt, to resolve this, this has been going on far too long

Regardless of asset ownership Zub can buy in to equity placement (say 0.6p) so they can average down their average price and maintain same equity percentage?
Could be something they like or could be something they'd like and are interested in themselves (using levered public vehicle) to dispose to Aex but it would need to FCF +tive to get other buy in which could pay down their interest etc.
All imho, could be completely up the wrong street and dyor.

"corporate transaction resulting in further discounted dilution"

but how would that benefit the Zubair's with their 30% holding, or are you thinking a tie-up/deal with another Zubair company ?

I'd say 10% if they wanted to screw us?
Perhaps some asset swaps?
At the end if the day I don't really care I've written these off and don't expect anything as they have been a perennial disappointment.

yes, and there is the little mater of Aminex being obliged to grant (security) to ARA over the $2 million loan for the CGT, and the US$3 million funding arrangement provided by ARA, which i suppose, now that Aminex has the licence in place, would be security over Aminex's 25% free-carry of the Ntorya development ? maybe then up to 5% could be at risk, but also then, provide them the reason to sell us share holders, your (impending corporate transaction) ???

I can only assume in the form of some impending corporate transaction that Ambrose "spoke of" and continually tempered expectations of, when referring to how cash strapped we were.
Just my opinion of course.

What’s the chance of a Tanzanian sign off by Tuesday, slim I’d imagine based upon past record.
