Agree skin but ffs - aex really shouldn't be impacted by this, especially as the BOD have done such a sterling job to date (with that regard) anyway.
They should get all the plaudits for that achievement - not Trump lol!

Let's get the 'recognition' in the right place eh?!

Never been to Cawsand. You have to like surfing to live in Newquay.

Contd - but the problem is when you can choose anywhere in Cornwall or Devon - there are lovely places virtually everywhere?
I may just end up in Tenerife lol - if things aren't so bad post Brexit!

skin and BG thanks for your comments re Appledore.
Re the house yes from my mean perspective lol - that is a lot of money for just over 1000 sq ft. especially when you compare to some properties in Cawsand in Cornwall but thanks very much anyway - because the views look stunning?
I need to be near a main('ish) railway station and generally decent transport connections plus would really like a commercial live in type proposition - to keep me 'busy' or else I get up to all sorts of mischief!
I do like Ilfracombe - Brixham - Looe - Newquay?
Blimey blue opening for AEX lol!

It's a lot of money for a small old house with a road at the front door. It hasn't even got double glazing.

Appledore, I was there last month funny enough, didn't visit the Maritime Museum though, that will be for another day, we just walked down the sea front well the estuary, to the very quaint Irsha st who's properties on one side backs onto the estuary, very nice indeed if that's your thing, anyway it was the Beaver INN we were there for, food excellent and the setting looking out over, where both the Taw and Torridge merge before entering the Bideford/Barnstaple Bay.

Dunder how about this one

Thanks Dunder it was a very long time ago. It's amazing how long some of these oilers can last. It was called something else back then. It's a career for some.

Get you. I've an open offer to consider ignoring from 88 Energy. I've a large bottom drawer.

No, I think too many headwinds and uncertainties. Lack of information, corruption and Politics more than Trump.

Gerry u think recent share price weakness is trump related?!
Ahem.
Here's hoping that uwe's buys were not artificially supporting price yesterday or we could see further relative weakness today.
It's a real shame because this is my only under performing o&g stock and frustrating to see share price drop each day.
Here's hoping mgt are true to their word and we can get farm down done and hopefully a 're rating from here, although nothing's guaranteed in life of course!

Appledore is charming. I don't know it very well. Wonderful history - all sea-related. Ship building, ship repair, sail and rope making etc.
Most of that gone of course, but it is still clearly apparent. Go look!

Is Appledore nice then skinny?
I'm looking to relocate to that area and having such large choice makes it even more difficult.
I have happy childhood memories of going on holiday in Ilfracombe as a youngster plus like Newquay.

Well that's the problem with catching a falling knife skinny me old mucker.
I've got to admit the mentals over on lse seemed to have missed the point the other day that uwe had actually purchased a mm shares the day the share price ended up a tiny bit or was flat?
Had uwe not being buying all these the share price pfmce that day, would have been pretty bad?
I'm going to pop over 'there' quickly for a nosy around.
Has drewky got his list up yet?

BG - I did moot a few posts back, about 'averaging down' if we hit 0.8 to 1.0p however if we hit that value it is probably because something is really wrong and this information is 'out'?
It is so difficult to determine when to average down.
This is such a pi driven stock and hence impacted by that sentiment.

It is a shame the 'mgt' do not appreciate that - but I'd hardly expect them to be able to contemplate share price mgt and PR - when you see how out of their depth they are at actually managing a publicly limited company and respective assets in the first place.
This could come good and eventually re-valued around 180 to 200 MM but there are a lot of serious questions and worries about so many things who knows what could happen?
I did promise myself NEVER to invest again when I have ultimate questions about mgt hence really, should follow that advice and not 'average' down anyway.
I'm sure weakness today is merely a largish pi selling down to invest elsewhere bwtfdik?
Best of luck all and as ever all above imho and dyor of course!
