The Tegata escrow account scam trundles on with, predictably, none of the crooks involved in jail or even prosecuted.

Another c$150m dollars on top of the already massive Tanesco debt won't help Orca, Symbion etc get paid.

Somebody mentioned perforations earlier. Have not been following the thread but as we are now into a production testing phase then this is nearly always done through a perforated casing interval. If a second interval is tested then the first could be isolated by a packer to allow the second set of perforations and the test interval to be tested independently of the first. Quite normal and as I suspect that this production test is being run through a completion package its all good news as the management are confident of reservoir performance to a commercial level already.

OK, just wondering as it sounded liked you'd sold. Your 'only' 7% might still be a lot more than some people hold though.

So long as the company is profitable at the operating level the risk is hugely reduced. Kiliwani provides the revenues and has a bit of spare capacity as Tanzania builds up its gas usage (not just in big power stations ngms!!).Meanwhile the company can prove up Ruvuma, book those TCF as reserves, maybe even find the oil that's there. If Tanzania decides it now has the gas available near term (prior to N2 all the big gas was offshore and a decade away) it could buy in a load of CHP power generators to get the power plan moving.I wouldn't write off anything yet. Wait to see what is announced by AEX, and what is subsequently announced by Tanzania.

Regarding demand the prospectus cites hopes for an early production system up and running within twelve months delivering to industrial partners. The Dangote cement controversy in the press seems to have put a big question mark over that.

As far as a direct connection to the pipeline from Ntorya I'd agree it is likely it will be 2020s before we see that... but it's March 2017. I'm fine with that! Although demand is forecast to outstrip supply in 2018 so it will certainly be an interesting next few years.

Jimbo, I was referring to the fact that he claims he held for 6 years, to then sell two weeks before results of the biggest drill in the companies history. Doesn't sound genuine to me. If you've only held for a few months then fair enough.
