I agree Buffy, though its heyday was over well before TMF shut the boards down.

Don't forget Aex already have gas to market on restricted flow giving them $880k per month currently. N2 flows should impress and then straight onto N3. Oil gas condensate they have it all. Multi TCF gas in a prolific hydro province.

Ngms,

Yes, I'm sure all you say is true, but it still had the single best O&G board around, and some excellent company boards.

Of course it was a product of the rising tide in the OP from $10, but we had some very knowledgable investors and great discussions.

One thing I learnt is that investments in good companies, with excellent assets don't always end up where you imagined they would. For example Soco, Encore, GKP, Serica, Caza Oil, dare I say Aminex...

Dubbed the next Tullow it's one to hold.

Yes so you keep repetitively rampingly and constantly telling us. I was once dubbed the next Peter Shilton, but I never graced a professional game.

Biggest news Aex has had to date RNS'd and biggest to come in the pipe. Flow rates should be great with the higher than expected pressures and pay zone.

It was being ramped quite heavily over the week end on Twitter. One group were even targeting 55p believe it or not!
No doubt if the next 'hot tip' arrives soon then ngms may get his 4.5p very quickly.

I've dreamt that we will see 4.6p and I will buy back in. However that was a daydream around 5pm yesterday!

FWIW, I'd held AEX for over 10 years and was still down about 20% even with top slicing and buying some at 1.5p.

Knowing my luck it will continue up to 25p now.

One day I must trawl through my trading history and work out whether I'm up on SOU and AEX. It'll be close.. :~}

Buffy, I think it was WShak who used to talk about AEX under Brian Hall putting shareholders through repeated rinsings (via placings etc.), on hope built on good news only for the price to crash later.

I think I've been through every wash cycle.

Luckily I bought a fair few under a penny. It would have been prudent to have sold some yesterday. But I have traded along the way, which has helped dull the pain.

In my view it's 6 to 14 days until news. There is still plenty of time to buy some back.

Given I somehow manged to sell 1/2 my SIPP holding above 5.8 I could buy back now and still be laughing.

HAF,

You've got a whole spreadsheet for AEX? How many tranches did you buy???

That's enough coffee for today...
