01/4/2019 11:05 | 6 working days to FY results, should make it a good week!!!!! Edit: From col drake on LSE 'Not wanting to sound too optimisitc but looking at the holdings totals and movements, I would say ALL large II's that wanted out before US tax deadlined (DEC 31st) and UK tax deadline (April 5th) are now out with the exception of Invesco's last 369k shares.' | moneylender
01/4/2019 09:22 | It does indeed. Piddly hits on bid and offer, games being played | tsmith2
01/4/2019 09:04 | Ok, let's test your theory. What will the closing share price be today? | lucyp00p
01/4/2019 08:51 | Price action looks more bullish this morning. | n95
31/3/2019 23:22 | The chart kept me out, and the chart will get me back in...eventually... I certainly won't be buying until there's some sign of recovery. Be warned, this could be a bear flag. M | marnewton
31/3/2019 22:30 | My problem is charting cannot predict shocks - good or bad and Amerisur has plenty. Without the benefit of charting I can concur, these shares are cheap. | lucyp00p
31/3/2019 21:11 | Re trad smarter and Lucy, whether Amerisur can work with charting I don't know but if markets are run with bots/algos,then it's plausible to me and if my maths are correct the 13.5 level that trade smarter says as bottom is almost bang on with the fib 61.8 retrace. | treasure
31/3/2019 15:36 | Homebrewruss, I think your somewhere in the ball park, maybe a bit less. JW did mention in the Malcy interview back in Feb of some cheeky things at plat, so he has delivered there which is a bonus for me. The other bit is what happens with the OBA and how much oil we manage to buy in and pump through. That has the ability in itself to be transformational as well. I'm a long hold here, looking at end of next year and hope for loads more than 10'000 bopd by then. | treasure
31/3/2019 14:32 | Thanks Sirius. Obviously there are lots of moving parts but somewhere between 8,000-10,000 bopd seems reasonable and would be a great step up from where we are now. Should be throwing off lots of cash if that's the case too. | homebrewruss
31/3/2019 14:15 | "If we hit oil" is a far more important component of the narrative than trying to forecast the future with graphs which interpret past actions in order to predict the future. Amerisur is not Unilever. Our shareholder mix is large tax haven based private tax dodgers, mid sized investment funds, long term losers (like me) and day and short traders in for a turn. There is no liquidity sufficient to absorb sudden shocks and large scale departures so charting Amerisur is bloody pointless as "if we hit oil" is all that matters. | lucyp00p
31/3/2019 13:45 | Less. 8,000 - 9,000 bopd I would think | siriusbizness
31/3/2019 12:33 | Aside from takeover speculation, anyone any thoughts on where production could be by the end of the year? Two Indico appraisals + Indico back to full production and Platanillo workovers and more...? 10,000 bopd? Less/more? | homebrewruss
31/3/2019 09:02 | I guess all the companies that want to take Amer out are waiting for a minimum 10p increase in the share price .. | davwal
30/3/2019 23:49 | Colombia Sees Gain in Venezuela's Pain With a Unique Plan for Oil Bids: | homebrewruss
30/3/2019 22:35 | To be fair Lucy if we hit oil he wouldn't of been far of the mark, don't think many here expected this drop even on a duster, just how Mr Market works these days hit a duster bang punished big time hit the black stuff 2-3 point gai, roll on when we spud the appraisal well buyers will be flocking back. but in the mean time there's plenty of other opportunities elsewhere | avsome1968
30/3/2019 18:48 | Poor showing the last few sessions and sadly broke to the downside on the news (dusters usually bring about an upto 30% drop, especially when the sb firms had 99% of clients long on this...kinda glad lower "support" held,as many could have been forced out of positions the drop worse. Normally when a drop is "overdone" it brings about a 50% recovery of the fall in the coming weeks...hence why i expect a move back to 15-16p, but if results are poor and seller persists then we could go lower to around 11.25-11.5p (dont think that will happen, but if no good update comes then you never know) my profits now evaporated..13.5p should stop the rot. For now 16p is the best I see and whilst i'd hoped we would break to 20p and then possible test 22-26, we have now retraced 2/3rd of the gains. For now I'm a buyer at 13.5-14p but then will wait to see what happens....not great viewing but my views the past few weeks and current 24th March free stock charts from uk.advfn.com 17th March (what would have happened if we found the ocean of oil) free stock charts from uk.advfn.com 10th March longer term projections free stock charts from uk.advfn.com The reality now until we get positive news and update 30th March free stock charts from uk.advfn.com If we believe 1% risk has resulted in 15% fall then short term opportunity to add for the long term gain, but sellers of potential can make profit until the potential is proven. Takeover premium in the short term would probably be 22-26p so lets hope that does not happen, but anything 25-30p would likely succeed now is my view..normally a 30-50% premium, but think Amer would be 70-100% premium myself | tradesmarter
