Three wells to be drilled this month exiting times ahead. Last months update did say we should see the benefits of previous treatments and de waxing this month so fingers crossed...

Common problem, wells wax up over time. As this happens, production declines. Remove the wax & you'd expect production to increase. Rocket science it ain't.

I am thinking what they actually did in the last few months since I invested regarding adding to the production. Some paperwork, civil work, they started to upgrade OBA pumping station (if) .... Remind me please - what they actually did physically to increase production? De waxing is not about increasing

Drilling new wells is very much dependant on the weather. The normal rainy season has been exasperated by La Niña and it is still raining but is expected to improve. I guess that is why the drilling schedule has been put back.

Or the guy counting the bbls lost count on 30th May & had to go back to the start,

Or they're waiting on confirmation of an imminent spud or two & want to include this,

Or waiting on confirmation from ONGC about little perforations,

Or the RNS has been lost in the post,

Or....zzzzzzzz

If the insider information being posted here is correct, then it should be accompanied by explanation.

For example, Mariposa may have been offline to perforate the additional zones, which was scheduled "within the next month" which would have been May and if that is the case, then waiting for the new daily figures (an assuming, of course that they are good) would be fine.

Not so good would be more wells on maintenance, unless it was a decision to do all at the same time and accompanied by a compelling rational for doing so.

Overall, we do need some evidence that the drilling season has actually arrived, after what has become a 6 month gap: any one of the 3 will do!

Let's be honest, the monthly production figures are not that relevant at the moment, it is the drilling results that will determine whether the next milestone for the share price is 15p or 25p.

I am not aware of the specific rules applicable to Amerisur but do know that an rns cannot be issued without the approval of the ANH. They control news release to curate the type of news, I.e., they don't like news of civil and guerilla activity to be disseminated. This is why Colombia is no. 130 in the world of press freedom. All production is certified on a monthly or less cycle.
