fadilz you can either ask questions in the AGM or you can grab hold of a director afterwards, but be aware GC normally whisks them all off to London pretty sharpish.
In the bar is much more informal but dont expect anything price sensitive or insider, it just doesn't happen.

moneylender, I am considering attending the meeting as I have some questions for the board. Will they answer questions on the day (previous comments imply little time pre or post AGM for mingling) - or do you recommend being in the bar the night before?

As one of the "illustrious posters" I can confirm what Tony has said about last year. In years gone by I have always had good chats with both NH and JW and a few of their city friends on the eve. Living locally I am able to meet up for a beer at the St Mellons hotel if anyone are interested.

I have stayed at the Travel Lodge (or Premier Inn was it?) just up the road and a B&B about 3 miles away. That means a few eers the night before.
However, last year I drove there in the morning (from London not Moscow!!) and afterwards had a pint nearby with 3 illustrious posters here.

I've yet to confirm a UK visit around then, but expect I'll be along.

The night before has invariably turned out to be damp squib. We all sit in the bar expectantly, while getting to know (or remember) each other.

B0D and city groupies eventually come back from a seemingly good dinner elsewhere (no doubt paid for by us, as with the entire hotel booking).

GC retires without a word (if only!!!!)
NH and JW remain with some convivially sharing beers with us, but guarded conversation.

JW appears to want to 'mix in' and is usually the last of them there.

ACV here are the three nearest hotels to St Mellons. The Campanille is cheap and not cheerful! lol
They are all a short taxi ride away.

For the AGM, I've used the Travelodge, just slightly closer to Cardiff, but only 5 mins back to St Mellons. There's also Premier Inn, and I think Holiday Inn close by on the same A road into Cardiff.

Where did you pick up the date for the AGM?? I've been quite a few times in recent years, but if it is the 15th, won't be able to make it this year!!

Same mkt. cap as SQZ. While i like AMER I feel it's fully valued at the moment. Results in April may change that view or news on drilling but until then .........

I'm coming to the AGM, I see it's not possible to book the st mellons hotel for the night before the AGM, any recommendations from anyone?I understand the AGM is scheduled for the 15th of May.
