Anything needing a signature from a ministerial office will have to go through
normal protocol procedures. No ministerial office lets stuff out that has been signed without first checking very thoroughly that all of its contents are correct. No one wants to really take responsibility for this so phone calls are made all round the place to ensure no hiccups.

Dont worry it may take a week or two but it will get done as its very high in priority
terms for oil to be sold and the government to get its cut.

With fluffed attempts on oil tankers in Antalya Turkey you can understand why US is concentrating on 'safe-ish' regions like Colombia and Ecuador.

That link was so wrong on so many counts and assertions on "climate change" too.

The US is importing more oil not less. It's imports are now over 8,000,000bbl a day but even that understates the real figure as it's suggested they use 18-19mmbs per day and they are not producing 10mmbls so a shortfall on published figures.

Anyone remember Al Gore and how he made billions investing in renewables before trying to frighten the life out of people with "The Inconvenient Truth" it had data that was false and ALL of the projections based on dates that have already passed DID NOT happen but that big inconvenient truth has escaped the media as it does not suit the agenda

Interesting piece in the FT today about increased M&A activity in the oil sector, and specific references to a number of companies - positive re some such as Hurricane and Sound, and negative re GKP. Pity no mention of AMER, given its strong financial position and good prospects.

It does make you wonder if the company is deliberately being kept under the radar.

Well that is some good news .. that the peace deal is extended until the end of the year.. that gives Amer management time to say IbA will be operational this year, u am still hoping for it to happen in Oct( any time soon, a few weeks , a few days , imminently.. maybe one day soon) ..
