Good results and dividend increase with positive outlook.About the same as 2004 but share was 180 then;suggests mostly in the price now.
Todays gas price cuts may help.
Overall strong hold.

Good solid company, well managed through a very difficult set of events. More of a recovery rather than a growth stock I'd have thought, so fully valued at the moment. Will wait for the inevitable dips below 200p before considering a buy.

Spread used to be pretty evil though, so agreed definitely a hold.

Interims are ahead of expectations, though hard to say exactly what full year outcome will be given what they've said about reduction in 2nd half bias.

I'm happy enough to hold for what looks like decent if not stellar share price progress over the med term.

Just bought 5000 as a flutter on tomorrows results.Two minutes later they are up 6 .

Interims this Thurs. The following is frow the AFX roundup of forthcoming results:

'THURSDAY FEB 8

Alumasc Group PLC said in Oct that the new financial year had kicked off more positively than the early part of last year. Despite the sustained rise in material costs and delays in some public sector spending on social housing, both divisions -- Building Products and Engineering Products -- were ahead of last year, as a result.

Meanwhile, the group continues actively to seek bolt-on acquisitions for its building products businesses.

Andrew Douglas of house broker KBC Peel Hunt is setting his sights on pretax profits of 3.3 mln stg for the six months ended Dec 31 2006, up from 2.7 mln.'

I stress I am not a chartist. But I have just had a look at the 10 year chart and from it I would think there is nothing in the way of £3.00 a share. If these next set of results bare out what they said in the agm statement then there could be a bit more in it.
Had a very good look at the account . The assets are very undervalued. The sites were last valued in 1987!!!

bought again this morning. Again no shares around Presumably a seller will come out now.The price has gone over £2.00 for the first time in about ten years.

A £66m mcap company and virtually no trades in the shares. I bought 3k (yes less than £6000.00 worth) this morning and the price moves up a penny on the bid.
