I would say they are definitely making positive cashflow right now.

Cashflow was positive even for H1 2019 ($0.4m), with gold prices lower and production around half what it was as per the July 19 increase.

$27M is a lot of money in Kazakhstan. Plus, despite interest payments, they should be making positive cashflow at these gold prices which can also be used for investment.

With $27m raised and CPR's done, what else does this company need to develop their mine(s) to the next level?

I doubt they have the required skills or manning to develop by themselves, and I doubt $27m is enough anyway, but I do think they'll get those skills one way or another.

I doubt the mines are for sale, but a joint venture may be a possibility.

Many synergies with eua.

I agree that there is substantial risk Vish, but Altyn have 3M ounces Indicated, in relatively shallow underground mining at decent grades - and now the money to exploit them. And the gold price is high and climbing. Plus the majority owners seem to not be idiots. So while risk means that I wouldn't expect the market cap to be £200M at this stage, sub £20M seems a bit ridiculous IMHO.A lot of the metrics line up with EUA actually. Same part of the world with its political/corruption risk. Multiplying EUA's key 2M oz Pd resource at Monchetundra by the price of Palladium, gives a similar value to ALTN's 3M Oz Gold X price of gold. Monchetundra has a possible 13M more Oz of Pd, Altyn has a possible further 9M Oz of Gold - both sites at a low confidence currently. Altyn has a small scale production currently ramping up, and so does EUA at West Kytlim. And yet EUA's market cap today is 5x Altyn's!.. with most people thinking that EUA has some way to go...So I am personally hoping that, when (if?!) we do get positive news on the ramp up, Altyn will be heading for the 2p area sharpish. No advice intended of course.

" and we get anywhere near the targeted production levels"..

Thats a bigger ask than you may think with Altyn and i'd imagine why we are still at 0.6p. Still we live in hope ! 😐

Yet today we get a few million sold off for just 0,56p which seems to be a desperate chap, very disappointing.

If AISC drops and we get anywhere near the targeted production levels, then at $1500 Gil the $27M debt will be wiped out quite quickly IMO. Look at AAZ.

AISC for H2 should be alot lower if production increased and they mined the higher grade gold as indicated. I'm hoping some sort of news is imminent as we were led to believe by the company some news on new plant would be announced before year end( last year)

Now that we have $27m of debt and bonds to service, but we also have a newly invigorated production operation with results yet to be confirmed, and we have a rising gold price.

So, the question has to be, can we service financial commitments, develop the mines and avoid further financial difficulty?

Next report should give us significant clues.

This company is well known for not engaging in self promotion, so we may have to wait til April or May for the next set of numbers.

However, they have recently raised a small fortune in cash to fund mine development, so it is possible that we get a separate note regarding the plans for that.

Until further news it's a slow and steady accumulation for us believers.

Iran should be taking the moral high ground, and resist a response to American provocation. But they won't.

Iran have done the overt response. Now it's guerilla war and that will cause the us a lot more problems.

That's the logical response that the US should be 'over the moon' at the muted Iranian response. However you forget that the White House is occupied by a moron. A moron who desperately craves re-election.

I agree with roguetreader here. It is in Iran's interests to continue their current activities. They don't want a slug out with the US.

I also don't believe that gold is ready to break higher yet. I suspect that it may dip to $1500 or a little lower before pushing on but I do believe that the longer term direction is much higher.

I don't think I have seen that exact statement... if you are referring to the word "proportionate" that doesn't mean the "proportionate" response is finished

Iran is winning the long game on the ground in Iraq and Syria, will not want or need a shooting war with the US.
