Same here. The family who hold the majority of shares were indeed subject to a rather messy share situation some years ago, but I doubt they would chance repeating that and as for taking it private which some worry about, I've thought of that so many times, but where the family are billionaires, and even financially would gain far more from Altyn being successful as a PLC or selling to what would have to be an agreeable suitor.

The positives are obviously the massive resource, low cost base, rising gold price, and excellent undiluted capex expansion and financial management by the board.

With the family holding the majority of shares they have stopped shares being the play thing of shorters. By remaining listed I expect the board to be considering potentially using that listing to raise capital at some point, or maybe they'll decide that markets are too corrupt or toxic to get involved with...and take the business private.

The volumes traded in this company have been very low forever. The consolidation a few years back didn't do anything to change that.

I think there are three negatives, firstly the capital structure with the family holding so much voting power, secondly the financials Vs capex requirement, and thirdly the postcode given the Russia Ukraine war and our proximity to the Russian border.

Sorry wrong board on that. Still think this is way under priced though. Agree with all the things said. Not sure about the history of the family (having researched them and previous deals) or the contradiction in explaining the loss of the auditors (time expired according to the co) compared to the auditors companies house explanation (suspicious third party transactions). However this is so cheap on paper having invested multiples of the market cap in plant and machinery, and it seems likely to me they will get to 60k Oz run rate, just when.... and will they still bother being listed?

Q1 closes in a few weeks, having entered with prices above $2000/oz, briefly dipping below $2000/oz mid-february and then storming in March with prices above $2100/oz.

Should be some bumper revenues for ALTYN.
