Based on the numbers, H2 should have produced a lot more PBT compared to H1.
So cash shouldn’t be a problem apart from unforeseen/unexpected capex.
Gold poured H1 14.5koz v H2 18.6Koz.
Looking forward to the seeing the financial detail, But should be good.

Heard on radio 4 this morning about how wonderful Bidens policies had helped US economy....then saw US was creating $1 trillion in debt every 100 days. No matter which of the eventual candidates for US President it will herald a diminution in the dollar which should increase gold price

16 months of weakening GDP numbers tells us that interest rates should fall, but the falling dollar tells us the opposite.

Interest rates are used to protect currencies not make life easier for the plebs.

tightfist: I'm not too worried about PI awareness, as the share price will move when/if Altyn succeeds. I just take a few more when they are cheap as they are often not easy to acquire in quantity

PP: I totally agree. After so many years of possibilities, a dividend (any dividend) would be a substantial signpost towards a new era. There is a lot to like here; we desperately need more PI awareness of the evolving story.

Major mine expansion or start up and the lead up to commissioning is the high risk period when the possibility of disruption and the necessity for additional funds to complete the job properly or service
the original loans are highest. Whether it happens here, depends on how well the mine is managed and how realistic and achievable the capital budgets have been . Whether your ATYM or VAST it makes no difference. The share price will fall and drift until the mine has been proven to operate successfully at the new level . And that may take a couple of quarters of production . Not withstanding any other news unrelated to the expansion I'd expect the share to drift and fall until the situation becomes clear either way . The delay to Q3 wasn't a good start so plenty to ponder.

Excellence. I disagree, a 1p dividend as a maiden dividend would not value a company at 25p. So many companies who are valued far more than 25p who don't get near or even have the potential for dividends, let alone potential dividend growth. Altyn has the prospect of much more and a maiden dividend sends the message that progress will continue and prospects for much more to come.

A 1p dividend would value our shares at about 25p.

We are currently valued at a speculative opportunity value, with no dividend to support it.

With banks and bonds paying 4%+ for the foreseeable future we really need to compete with those alternatives by paying at least 4p and hopefully more.

We have seen costs rise and timelines slip, and any dividend payments are smaller and further away as a result.

At least gold is still over $2000, but should really peak at $2900 in the next cycle. Our timing could be perfect.

The HUGE unknown is what our costs are currently and if any of the capex items have spiralled up.

The good news about the last report is that they didn't tell us of any coming financial shortfalls, so I'm hoping that our budget is still reasonably on target.

The really great thing about ALTYN is that they are producing solid revenues and largely self financing growth, but we do have bonds and loans to repay.
