Gold pummelled as US inflation remains stubbornly high. Interest rates are likely to be higher for longer. Unemployment rising, UK is now in recession.

The price of gold should be going much higher.

The majority holders aren't short of cash, so there's no urgency for them, and when production hits their targets, and only then in my opinion they will consider an offer for the company, but it would have to be significant as they hold so much of the company. In my opinion that's why the impression may be that they are lackadaisical on the PR and reporting front, simply because they can afford that luxury. I'm along for the ride, as its the sort of company where the management of the mining seems good, and the slightest whiff of them selling would send the share price up multiples as the market knows they would have to be presented with a very very good price.

The other point is dividends, which I've raised several times, and which the management appear to have taken on board, and if or when that happens, share price will react accordingly.

Do what I usually do with a drop here....put buy order in

Makes sense there's no requirement for now. When it's built up, then maybe will help them cash out/expand

I asked the CEO of another listed company why they didn't do more PR or a broker note, and he said they wouldn't do that until they had reason to.

PR is usually to try and raise the SP, often in anticipation of a fund raise, or, to fence off an unwanted approach by another company, ie a hostile takeover.

When ALTN start to do more PR it will be because they have a plan which requires a higher public profile.

This company will do everything APART FROM the basics of PR. The share price is basically trading at a fraction of its value as the management refuse to make the effort to give regular updates in a timely fashion, get reports out on time etc.. But they do run the business well. So let's see what comes along - just don't expect them to let you know any good news other than when they absolutely have to. Impatience doesn't work with this share

True, and all of those years have been leading us to this point, where the company have raised capital and invested, and now we hope to see evidence of growing production, increased resources, higher profits, and a runway for TS.

If TS isn't going ahead then they've wasted years and a fortune on it, and they haven't made any effort to find any alternative.

I'm just getting impatient.

Our share price is looking a little weaker every day, and no news for months.

The price of gold is firm but not really pushing higher.

Can't help thinking that all isn't as it should be with ALTN.

We need news and a chairman's statement to clear the air and calm the nerves.

Russia did invade South Ossetia, a small part of Georgia. I seem to recall they went to the aid of ethnic Russians who were being persecuted.

Putin could have lived with an independent Ukraine, but they also wanted to join NATO which was in breach of a long time promise made by the west to Russia in exchange for the break up of the soviet union and reunion of Germany.

Excellence, but they did invade Georgia, Ukraine and I remember the absolute assurances from Russia that they were not going to invade Ukraine.

Also worth mentioning Putin suggests its always been Russian, in which case why did Russia align to the Budapest Memorandum, along with UK, USA to Guarantee Ukrainian Sovereignty. All empires corrupt absolutely including Soviet and US and eventually they all fail in my opinion.

Only have to look at history to see the number of failed empires.

Look at the havoc the British Empire caused, still wreaking havoc today in Gaza

Why the same seller? I, and I suspect many others buy/sell £5k 10k and 20k lots. There’s no point looking at individual buys/sells, they give no indication of price direction. If it was as simple as buy v’s sell volume it would be easy to write a program to monitor it and make billions, the best and wealthiest fund managers in the world can’t do that.

4th day in a row that someone has sold exactly £10,000 worth. Saw this before, clearly same seller.

All eyes on Tucker Carlson's two hour Putin interview at 6 tonight to see if Putin announces an invasion of Kazakhstan, Poland, Alaska or Burundi and the MSM would have us believe.

I have a feeling that management just can't be too bothered about the share price for now, so are just doing the minimum. Instead they are working on the business, and doing not a bad job. Eventually when they want to cash in, a high share price would help them no end so hopefully they'll make an effort at some point

First things first we need a clean AR with no material surprises. We have had the qualified Audit Report and then the admin expenses (local school funding) which came out of nowhere.

Understandably margins were also squeezed in the last financials due to inflationary pressures so until we get a clean set of accounts with some visibility of earnings I think the market continues to value as at what appears crazy low prices....frustrating as it is.

The market never believes good news until it sees it, but always suspects bad news.

The prospect of raising $100m is tricky enough but the lack of any real tangible progress at TS suggests that isn't certain...until it is.

We need a clear runway to success but we're not there yet. I have high hopes that this year will be pivotal towards all of the above.

I must confess to having had a couple of 1000 share nibbles here today. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the production target for 2024 is 57k Oz, the next plan seems to raise Circa $113m to both double Ore processing at Seki to get to in excess of 100k Oz gold recovery, and bring Teren-Sai into open pit production with it's own processing plant. If all of that completes to plan you could be looking at 120-150k Oz a year (revenue in excess of $250m). The market obviously doesn't believe this at all. Current market cap of around £27m. There may be more very unpleasant surprises in store with the year end figures, but in the absence of these and with a good well funded plan to achieve their goals these shares imho aught to be multiples higher.

Altyn sits pretty with a huge resource base and a proven track record. Likely revenue streams per month 10 million dollars. Looks extremely cheap based on the current market cap sub 40 million dollars.

Then they can acquire ALTN for £10 per share, increase reserves by 5m oz , cost of £55 per oz in ground (suspect this has been enlarged) and regain main listing. Simples....."Not such a bizarre thought given Polymetal de-listed from London and its main listing changed to the Astana International Exchange. Buying out Altyn would be a great prospect.
