21/10/2023 16:25 | Michael Oliver – Gold Price To Explode $600 Higher In 60 Days. October 21, 2023. ‘We are going to move from extreme fear in this sector to extreme greed.’ And I can’t tell you at what point that is going to take place, but it’s not going to be a 50 cent stock going to $2.00, it’s going to be a hell of a lot higher.” Gold Price Explosion. “I could be wrong on this, and if I’m wrong on this it’s because I could be understating the number because we’ve got some dynamics out there that are far bigger than the gold market. And there’s points at which those who try to control the gold market — namely some Western central banks, especially the US — are not going to succeed. Remember back in the late 1970s, the IMF dumped so many tonnes of gold it was unbelievable and gold went up 800% during that time. I did some technical measurements using both momentum factors and price, and it suggests to me that this breakout in gold that’s about to happen, where even the price guys will recognize it, is likely not to stop or halt until gold gets to about $2,550 to $2,600. I think that could occur in a matter of a couple of months, maybe even sooner. Again, I might be wrong on that but if I’m wrong it’s because the gold price is going to go higher. | stevea171
09/10/2023 09:28 | The family are like property developers except with mines. So seems unlikely they'll sell out something until it's built properly, in this case expanded the new mine and got it producing. | researchcentre123
06/10/2023 17:24 | I think some kind of tie up with another company, or an outright takeover are likely, but the share price needs to be a lot higher. It is possible that the family sell at a loss but very unlikely, and after all if these years of hard work they'll want a pay day. They have other investments so if they sell ALTN they won't be on the dole. | excellance
06/10/2023 17:07 | Indeed, when listed a company is in the shop window. | excellance
06/10/2023 12:39 | I believe they will sell it with a main market listing.......very attractive to the right suitor..... | stockknobjockeyvanbookstino
05/10/2023 14:05 | You don't have to fix for 30 years, there are other options. Even bank accounts offer 5.5% with protection and easy access. | excellance
05/10/2023 13:08 | What's the point of 5% on a 30 year T-bond (or higher) if you have lost a packet on the bond value? | stevea171
05/10/2023 13:04 | You hire what you can afford. | excellance
05/10/2023 13:01 | Apart from the Chairman the rest don't have any mining qualifications or experience other than in failed companies. | stevea171
05/10/2023 13:00 | I'd say the biggest problem facing us and others is inflating costs, and higher interest rates which divert investment funds out of risky equities and towards bonds at 5.5% guaranteed. | excellance
05/10/2023 12:49 | So you think they are all multi millionaires, and not just the top man? The fact is that they do have the qualifications, and they have a vested interest, and their wages are reasonable. They may opt to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to new directors and senior managers, but that would seriously add to our cost base. I hear what you're saying, but so far they've done a great job. It just takes time. They lost a decade running this on a shoestring, but thankfully kept it going, slowly developing organically without debt or solution, and it's a great example that others should follow. | excellance
05/10/2023 12:31 | Multi millionaires don't need to work. | stevea171
05/10/2023 11:56 | HOC are a much bigger company, years of growth, with family members sitting at home with their HOC trust funds and income in perpetuity, no need to dirty their hands with actual work. The Assaubeyevs aren't in the same league yet, but maybe they will be in a decade or so? | excellance
05/10/2023 10:45 | Until a couple of years ago, HOC the Peruvian PM miner, had the owner, Eduardo Hochschild with a majority c.51% shareholding since listing on LSE in the mid 2000's. He was Chairman but none of the exec Directors and top management were family members. They were all professional people recruited from the market who are not shy to communicate in English/Spanish as required. HOC has a 50 year record of mining under the ownership of the Hochschild family. It was a Ftse250 company until recently and will be again when it recovers from the current dip in fortune. The Assaubayevs could take a look at how HOC was structured to see how to move this company forward whilst still retaining control over company direction and protection from unwanted take overs. | stevea171
05/10/2023 10:04 | And the lack of dilution because they have a significant vested interest. Yes the geography is a problem for many common folk who have no clue where Kazakhstan is on the map, and whilst it may well be in the shadow of Russia it is a progressive wealthy independent state with no border to the EU and no plans to join NATO. | excellance
05/10/2023 09:51 | £4????? It doesn't matter if they produce 60k or 100k no one wants to invest here because of: 1. the geography 2. the ownership and share structure 3. the lack of professional management at CEO, COO, CFO, chief mining engineer, chief geologist levels who have been appointed on merit on results from working for other miners at the same or similar level. Replacing the 'hobbyist', never done any of this before, family member only qualification. 4. the lack of communication and PR. 5. the lack of conformance to established shareholder reporting standards of LSE/ASX/TSX miners. | stevea171
05/10/2023 09:19 | I do expect cost over runs, based on evidence from other mine developers and businesses generally across the globe. If our capex requirements were to rise by $5m or even $10m, could we absorb that? | excellance
05/10/2023 08:37 | Min £4 share price .... | dofmeister
05/10/2023 07:57 | ...and even if gold dropped to $1600 ALTN will be making £25m profit pa even if costs are over $1000 per ounce. Then there TS. I don't expect gold to fall as low as $1600 any time soon, more likely to test new highs. Also, once improvements are bedded in I expect costs to be well under $1000 per ounce even with inflated costs and larger debt repayments. | excellance
05/10/2023 07:38 | They take very small salaries! In 6 months time this will be processing 1m tpa and producing 60,000 oz..... | dofmeister
04/10/2023 21:03 | Yep, but over the last 3 year the world has gone to hell and back again, with COVID, war, inflation... Yet ALTN have made great progress to phase 1 and now phase 2, and haven't diluted at all, and managed to raise unsecured finance on great terms. | excellance |
