04/8/2021 08:58 | You are, of course, absolutely spot on, PP. But, the real problem, and the reason said other goverments persist in their pursual of such an evidently insane strategy of fraud and manipulation shrouded by a veil of 'stimulus', or incessant money printing, is that they no longer really have any other choice. Their self-destructive racketeering is too far gone... | linz22
04/8/2021 08:32 | The clever governments are buying gold, whilst the others indirectly shoot themselves in both feet trying to suppress the price of gold | pensionplanner
03/8/2021 16:38 | The fed are like the BBC, nobody believes a word they say. I'm surprised they haven't blamed the Russians! | excellance
03/8/2021 16:34 | Also GOLD could help if it can finally shake off the incredibly annoying $1800 magnet at the moment But FED fkn agent 'hawk' is always watching | onedayrodders
03/8/2021 16:27 | It's just the way it is currently for small cap producers IMHOI hold another small cap goldie that announced commercial production today ... a year ago it would have put on 20-30%..... today a pathetic 6%.Just gotta suck it up, hope we are right and wait for value to play out. | onedayrodders
03/8/2021 16:23 | Agreed very frustrating. Underinvestment for so many years has not helped our case. We have a plant with nameplate capacity of 850k tpa, yet now we discover it requires further capex of circa $35m-40m to actually reach those levels. Market is basically in "I will believe it when I see it" mentality as opposed to ascribing fair value based on FCF and other measures. Still personally think we need something out of left field to get this one going again and hoping we get that soon. | sloppyg
03/8/2021 15:38 | FFS you'd think this was a loss making no hope bunch of cowboys the way the share price is performing. Not sure what the bod can do to get this moving, other than continue to deliver results. | excellance
03/8/2021 10:43 | If inflation goes to 10% they'll start raising rates. The fed have accepted inflation will rise, and are happy to allow inflation to rise, but will "normalise" interest rates behind the curve. Inflation and gold will rise. | excellance
02/8/2021 08:21 | At least the mm has adjusted the share price back to 129p | excellance
02/8/2021 07:56 | Still above $1800, at least right now we are... It has been said many times by many people that their biggest fear with altyn is the family taking this private. Yet their actions don't suggest that they will. | excellance
02/8/2021 07:53 | Just $8 left of the Powell Dovish bounce from a few days ago in Gold | onedayrodders
01/8/2021 19:24 | Sometimes reckon it's this majority ownership is what stops the share being realistically priced. | goodgrief
01/8/2021 18:57 | No dividend and low share price makes us theoretically susceptible to a hostile takeover on the cheap, except of course we have the protection of our majority shareholder. | excellance
01/8/2021 18:34 | A much higher share price in the near term also has the advantage to the company of potentially cheaper funding and greater flexibility in terms of debt and equity funding. | tim000
01/8/2021 18:17 | Didn't AAZ declare a dividend policy and saw their share price rocket? | excellance
01/8/2021 18:10 | There’s nothing wrong with a small dividend and a mixture of debt and reinvested profits to fund expansion. The company is generating plenty of cash at current gold prices, sufficient not to become excessively reliant on debt finance. But of course it’s a hypothetical issue in practice. | tim000
01/8/2021 17:46 | Still a ridiculous 34 mkt cap ... so way too early for dividends IMHO | onedayrodders
01/8/2021 17:13 | I'm on the fence about a dividend. On one hand it would be nice to be rewarded with some income return whilst we wait for developmental growth, on the other hand a dividend just means less available cash to be used to expedite development, surely i.e we would need to borrow more, dilute more, or wait longer for cash flow to expand the plant? Dividends eventually, yes, when up to 2mt per annum and there is no requirement for further development capex. Not sure it makes sense right now? | king suarez
01/8/2021 16:54 | A dividend yield would certainly help with the valuation of the company. Plus it would entice a different type of investor as well. | 1madmarky
01/8/2021 16:18 | Dividend? like the idea of it, even if it was a very modest dividend. | pensionplanner
31/7/2021 18:57 | I agree that sensible capital allocation should include a small part of profits allocated to dividends. But we both know that the majority owner/Directors̵ | tim000
31/7/2021 17:54 | Despite yielding a torrent of cash there is no sign of any dividend yield. Paying a 4p dividend would cost about one million GBP and give a dividend yield of 3% If our shares yielded 3% I'm sure there would be plenty of takers to bid the share price up, and don't forget we are a growth company and any dividend would only get bigger. Would it be reckless to pay a dividend at this stage? Would a dividend be sustainable? Surely the whole point of equities is to eventually earn dividend yield, otherwise there's no point! | excellance
31/7/2021 17:21 | On the accounts, we know the revenue figures for H1 and, because mining is pretty much fixed cost, estimates of cashflow should be fairly accurate. I estimate adjusted EBITDA of $12.5 mn in H1, compared with $13.5 mn in 2020 as a whole. Net debt is reduced by over $5 mn compared with end-2020, to ca $16.5 mn. I guess that when the accounts are published in September, the share price should start to rerate, if not before. I simply don't believe that the company's strong fundamentals will be ignored indefinitely. | tim000
31/7/2021 10:09 | We have an entire generation of political leaders who see gold as a worthless relic of a time before socialism. They see gold as decadent and owners of gold arrogant. My daughter recently achieved a degree in business management, and I offered to buy her a gold chain and pendent as keepsake and reward to demonstrate my strong feeling of pride, and she said she "hated" gold, but would maybe consider something silver, like pandora... My girlfriend also won't wear gold, unless it is disguised ie white gold. What a crazy world we live in where people reject offers of golden gifts, and would perhaps prefer pandora fakes! | excellance |
