Stock shortage unfortunately 😢

There is no doubt this has been manipulated down, it is nigh impossible to buy online, my bet is someone wants a slice of stock around current levels and the market makers are hoping weak or bored holders will sell to fill the aforementioned order.

With Q2 results upcoming the window to buy at the current depressed price is closing, the only way in seems to be to place a limit order and hope it gets filled.

We're on a p/e of about 2-3 at these silly prices as far as I recall. OK it's Kazakhstan but it's not Somalia! Kaz is relatively stable and mining friendly, and we have massive reserves. So Mr Market is either:*Assuming there will be an equity raise very soon*Staying away due to the controlling family holding*Aware of some technical problems we're notIf none of the above then IMO the share price is due to rocket shortly, as we approach the quarterlies... Especially if the POG resumes an uptrend...NAI

You can't expect the share price to rise, when they constantly limit or prevent purchases. They are content to drop the price as if there were major selling, even if there isn't, but will not lift the price to encourage more sellers.

On one occasion I mentioned I was offered just TWO shares, and the same day share price had dropped considerably, yet they would not allow buys.

Suspect someone has a good idea share price is too low and wants only sellers.

Online limits have reduced to just 5000 shares at full offer, assumingly this is to do with the gold price rise.

Will be interesting to see when (if) a few buys come in where the price goes, looks like ALTN has fallen like other producers and will no doubt bounce if gold continues it's upward movement.

I bet the directors of ALTN are overwhelmed by the performance of Renaissance Capital since they were appointed to supposedly enhance the valuation.

Still 50% below the lowest £2.50p broker target.

Gold is looking good today.

Copper and oil not so good.

Apparently the Russian sovereign wealth fund has been divesting of dollars due to US sanctions and are now made up 20% of gold.

The more dollars are printed the less the rest of the world wants them.

Not sure why copper is weak today, but it has had a spectacular run.

There are only 3,500 shares available at offer then it moves higher, that number is with IG and retail brokers currently.

Looks like a move up is coming therefore as IG usually has more stock on offer.

Gold is looking very good this morning, reversing overnight falls, Altyn is below the radar but a good entry point right now if you can get any.

Q2 numbers are also due which should be decent.

Meanwhile, pog at over $1800 has to be very positive for all gold producers, but particularly for us surely, given our loans situation and future funding requirements.

If only gold price would clear the current level and start moving to 2200+

Particularly since we don't appear to have any hedging contracts or commitment to sell our gold at cheaper than spot.
