Ex , yes the fly in the soup is that the H1 report will (again) be very disappointing in the context of a buoyant gold market. We already know why (mill and tanks service / deferred sales/ new machinery still arriving and bedding in) so are they dragging on the release of H1 until they have more positive news on Q3 and drilling ?

I'm expecting the same as for the AR. Get the bad news out first followed quickly by positive newsflow (I hope !) to get some momentum in the share price.

If I remember correctly our owners need 2.34p to breakeven .


The 14 and 21 day RSI technicals have this in the oversold area now after a sustained period of high strength over the summer so it should be attractive now to technical buyers

Yes they own 70% of ALTN but they own a load of other assets too.

Yes, communication has improved dramatically, yet big questions remain, particularly that of the 154m options shares that has really got under my skin.

There is also the question of TS and what they are doing there, if anything?

Look, I'm still holding, still positive overall especially at this price that the share price will rise, but there is a fly in my soup so to speak.

The MMs may be trying to drum up some business by taking it below 1.5p where they hope/know some holders have stops.

Ex your point about the BOD not being interested would make sense if they didn't own 70% !!After last night's stock market and POG dip there will be a lot of people trimming/selling their losers to run their winners. Many people bought Altyn above 3p just a few weeks agoThere is no mass volume sell-off here at Altyn, for now at least, so I can't see that there are any insiders selling because they know the Q3 results are bad etc. The company doesn't need to raise money.We do need clarity on whether the loan arranger has been issued their 154M shares though.NAI

We're now getting quarterly production updates, and we will get a half-yearly report sometime between now and end of October (given the deadline relaxation announced).

We have also had ad-hoc RNS's about financing and equipment deliveries in recent months. What progress are people expecting to be officially updated on between a Q2 production update and interim results/q3 production update - monthly updates? No miner does those AFAIK.. drilling updates? - there isn't really an ongoing exploration programme currently?

More recent news allows for a 1 month extension to Interim results for LSE listed companies. Whether ALTN will be working towards end Sept or end October deadline, they don't say.

It seems they have gone back into their shell of non communication with shareholders?

Well...it's all coming to a head in the next 10 to 12 weeks.

Gold has remained above £1500 or $1920 for some time now, and with US elections over the pond and brexit negotiations concluding one way or another, gold could race ahead.

Meanwhile at ALTN in that same time we will get H1 and Q3 numbers at the very least, and the bounty share options will also lapse or be exercised.

Our share price is a very soft 1.7p and could easily be double that, provided production improvement has kept ahead of debt repayment which it should.

Then there is the future, and phase 2, along with TS drilling and development
