Tomorrow is Orthodox Xmas day and a public holiday in Kazakhstan. In Russia and FSU countries the New Year to Xmas period is a main holiday season, a bit later than in the West.

If gold stays above $1567 it’s hugely significant as it breaks major multi year resistance back to 2012-13. Next resistance not until $1750. Needs to hold and move past current levels and very overbought atm.

Altyn is the most undervalued gold stock on the market based on product and reserves.

JC - get your point but I try to think of investments in pure numerical terms, no feelings involved. And macro gold environment is TBH Golden on both the money supply front and the geo political front.

Its time to be in gold strongly, and this is a potentially spectacular play...

Be up early chaps as this is going higher IMO...

Personally my conviction remains that the gold price as a whole is primarily moving on the Finance and Money fundamentals over the "long term", with the political events exacerbating volatility i.e. Repo problems being the most recent major catalyst.

Too true........ I used to be involved in portable generator sales - that too always took off when some poor folk were suffering and an international humanitarian Aid programme kicked-in. A perverse world indeed.

Published spread was 0.68 - 0.71 at 16:28, with substantial buys and sells going through at those prices into the close.Now at 16:32 the published bid has dropped to 0.555 again.Up and down like... You know what :-)

Bid price has rocketed to 0.68. TBH I have been amazed at the volatility on the share trades all day, it's very hard to tell what's going on. Sells going through a minute apart at substantially different prices, published and real spreads all over the shop. It must be even more illiquid than it appears.
