MrMcnee. Agree the MM's are accumulating on behalf of a so far undeclared buyer. They are playing about with the prices to make it less obvious what they are about. At some stage it would be expected they will have to put through a buy of some tens of millions of shares (old money).

Just 27m shares at 140p giving a mkt cap of £38m

I see no reason for a dual listing, but certainly see some kind of merger, acquisition or takeover very soon.

The interesting aspect about ALTYN is the market has been very happy to take as many shares as you want to sell from you.

It does make you wonder if someone is accumulating or some other corporate move is in the wings.

Like others I feel convinced something material is going on behind the scenes, the share consolidation does appear to be for a significant reason, is a US listing in the offing like CMCL for example.

The shares are cheap and under radar, it would not take much volume to move the price significantly higher.

Cyberbub's long winded self justification political diatribe, Post 5101, totally deluded and pitiful.

Can't wait to see how the BBC/Ch4 have to eat humble pie after more than 4 years of taking their distorted reporting from the lying US MSM. Will they apologise to the British public? Doubt it.

I hold physical gold, but I don't hold physical oil or anything else.

As I said earlier I realise that commodities producers price in dollars, and this is because the dollar is the reserve currency. This means that we have to understand the relative values of the dollar to other currencies. In recent years some countries have made moves to reduce their use of dollars, like Russia and China, and why not?

And then there's the likes of bitcoin that many young people seem to idolise.

As has been said many times, when it comes to commodities, the USD is the only currency that affects price/sentiment. I don't understand why you look at the GBP price excellance. EURO, JPY or CHF all have some relevance but GBP not much.

I do always use GBP because I'm UK based, and my reason for investing in this type of company is because I believe that the value of the good old GBP will fall relative to them.

Yes I know gold is priced and traded globally using dollars, and that index is a vital driving factor, but I prefer to stick to the GBP.

Strangely, when I invest in oil companies I never consider the GBP price of oil.

Hmm...food for thought.

Gold is flying again today, regardless of what specifically is causing the uncertainty in the money markets, and every penny of that rise represents greater profit for gold miners like ALTN.

Lots of excitement in the sector and the big boys try to acquire as much acreage or capacity as possible, converting cash to assets.

Many other minnow miners are tweeting like Trump but altyn are still under radio silence, hence the natives being restless.

It was rigged ODR! Deffo "Lost in Translation"

My comment of course referring to the Funday Quiz, I won't get involved in the hornets nest of a rigged election on ALTN board...

As for a takeover plan, I would settle for a Q3 update at this point!! The chart is looking poor, with the share price below the 20, 50 and 200 SMAs.. we need some decent news ASAP.
