23/11/2023 15:44 | Feels like something has triggered interest & volume today. Zeus is pretty tight lipped so I'd discount them. Intriguing ahead of next weeks results. Bodes well. | northwards
23/11/2023 14:17 | I've not seen anything but good news either way | robbnw
23/11/2023 11:01 | Have we been tipped somewhere? | northwards
23/11/2023 08:34 | Thanks Northwards | sweenoid
23/11/2023 08:16 | If there are people in the know, the chart for the last few years isn’t saying they are selling overall. Peb’s chart was pretty dire as recently as 2022. ALT looked overblown rating back in 2019 and looks to have been in a slow recovery since the big drop. With the growth forecasts it seems worth holding nerve in a nervous market. | yump

23/11/2023 07:51 | I have ‘lost’ my copy of the analyst expectations/ forecast for revenue and earnings for H1 can anyone provide them please Thanks S | sweenoid
22/11/2023 18:53 | I hope the recent selling of ALT shares wasn't someone in the know before horrible numbers. We've seen that before in 2019. The market has a long memory. | maltrko
22/11/2023 18:07 | The update next week will be make or break for ALT after the rout in PEBB's valuation today. | seangwhite
22/11/2023 16:20 | Thanks chasbas Gear shop is in its embryonic stage with massive growth potential. Provided it ‘delivers̵ As for Pebble- when trust evaporates the ‘road back’ is rocky - been there, seen it, experience it and it’s painful. S | sweenoid
22/11/2023 16:06 | Pebble's warning is solely related to its Brand Addition business, which arranges large contracts for global clients. The Altitude related side of the business, Facilis, is doing OK with 10% revenue growth expected for the year despite a "more challenging economic environment." This echoes Four Imprint's trading statement. Sweenoid, I agree, Altitude must deliver on its core network business but I am hopeful that the new higher education business will be less affected by the US economic slowdown. GLA | chasbas
22/11/2023 15:51 | Something has gone very awry with Pebble since their H1 results in early September when the outlook was stated as good in a very posited statement from the CEO. Something dramatic has happened and their expected FY earnings will now be significantly lower than that stated in September, it’s really not explained in any real clarity, but you can’t promise one thing and then renege on it within a few months without getting slaughtered. Worse management has now lost its credibility and won’t be believed by the City or its investors, if I were a holder I would have no trust whatsoever in management and as such exit. What does this situation say about ALT and the sector itself - I think very little, but it’s pivotal that our CEO delivers on promises. S | sweenoid
22/11/2023 10:11 | Horrible update from competitor pebble today. | northwards
21/11/2023 16:44 | Luckily I got a few 1st 2 weeks in Nov - perhaps there was steady buying in the background already so the volume today made quite a difference. | yump
21/11/2023 15:22 | Looks like a bit of buying at last! One week until H1 results. Spread is 40p - 42p | chasbas
17/11/2023 21:04 | 'Dumping' is a wrong description of an investor selling a position.I hope they are doing this to suit their own knowledge and not for inside info. | seangwhite
17/11/2023 14:30 | Someone dumping in the background. | eeza
17/11/2023 10:03 | Feels like we are primed for a push north from here. | northwards
16/11/2023 12:35 | I've sold one of my favourite shares to buy more ALT below 39p....management recently ploughed 25% of their bonuses in at 43.5p. I am going to get very excited with Nichole on 28th Nov for H1 results to 30 Sep. US economy was really strong in quarter up to 30 Sep and remains sound for the moment. I don't see how Gear Shops will be affected badly next year if a mild recession occurs, as predicted by many. I'm not saying that ALT is completely recession proof but it ain't cyclical IMO. GLA!! | chasbas
08/11/2023 08:08 | At some stage the Penny will drop with Market. 4 imprint are losing Market share to Alt, its not Rocket Science. | steveberyl
07/11/2023 15:39 | I think the college update will be key for us. | northwards
07/11/2023 15:31 | Well we didn’t exactly follow FOUR up did we!? IMHO they were overbought and holders are taking an opportunity to cash in, they have had an incredible run. What counts for me is that ALT are a much smaller company and the opportunity for huge growth that FOUR no longer has is mouth-watering. Doubling the US college numbers from the very small starter number which concentrated on small colleges will be amplified significantly when as I expect they start winning significantly larger entities. ALT just need to perform, seems there has been a malaise in the market leaders that affords a great opportunity. We shall get more meat on the bone at results. S | sweenoid
07/11/2023 13:28 | FOUR down 10% on their trading update | davemac3 |
