29/6/2018 18:32 | If you look at fact sheet could still be opportunity here - might take a while though..... | rjmahan
29/6/2018 15:31 | I wish I'd bought them when I had the chance now... They've returned the purchase price and the shares would be free by now! | zcaprd7
11/5/2018 10:38 | Getting a bit low now, what gives?Have they sold off the cherries now and just left with the duds, after the latest return or capital? | zcaprd7
23/1/2018 14:03 | Can anyone see the fact sheet yet? | hugepants
26/12/2017 20:44 | Agree.......and it had been flagged.....and more disposals to come in Jan hopefully. | langland
26/12/2017 19:59 | NAV marked down to 45.5 cents on 22nd Dec. That's a huge cut but hopefully a realistic NAV now with potential for upside. | hugepants
19/12/2017 07:18 | Missed this from last week. They are planning to increase the size of the company by issuing a new share class early in the new year. Also looks like another 4 cents to be distributed "The Company has received US$6 million in cash from underlying investments over the past month and anticipates that further funds may be received over the coming month. The Board therefore intends to make a distribution to shareholders, details of which will be provided in the New Year." | hugepants
12/12/2017 15:57 | Due an update here. It will be interesting to see how they value the remaining 2 Vision funds which are 40% of the portfolio. They got close to book value for the Vision FCVS PB fund last month. | hugepants
22/11/2017 14:15 | Still kicking myself over these... | zcaprd7
22/10/2017 21:24 | The July fact sheet is out now. There is a new investment manager now and it contains a bit more information than previously. NAV is 77 cents and they have 6.5 cents cash now (30% of the market cap) after the 3DPropCo liquidation. Also sounds like they will apply a discount to the NAV which is probably a good thing. | hugepants
25/9/2017 12:11 | It was and it looks like they may have taken it. | robizm
25/9/2017 10:47 | If I recall correctly there was an offer on the table of "20 cents on the dollar" plus 50% of future disposals for Abax Arhat. I think it was in one of the monthly fact-sheets at the beginning of the year. | hugepants
24/9/2017 17:26 | On further reading gfir had 1250 shares at approx 1/2 million last year but marked them down by 80% where as alf still have them at full price at $6 milliin dollars but i would say now worth £900000 approx to what gfir sold theres for. | robizm
24/9/2017 11:23 | Good spot. | langland
24/9/2017 10:52 | These hold 5.7% at 30th june in abax rhat fund which gfir annouced will receive an upfront payment of £110000. Not sure what percenrage this was of gfir so cannot tell uf the full 5.7% is on it way back to alf or if it was a part payment but it is more cash | robizm
19/9/2017 15:11 | Really missed the boat on this one. Sigh | zcaprd7
19/9/2017 11:31 | great stock this one and there could be more to come from this disposal | hugepants
19/9/2017 10:53 | 5.15mn $ received. Should allow for another 3.5 cents to be distributed .....not bad. | langland
19/9/2017 08:04 | Quite a bit of activity last 24 hours with price moving up with volume. There must be more to it than just the sale of 3dpropco as per GFIR. | langland
29/8/2017 13:12 | HP - many thnx for that....Another distribution? - let's hope so... | skyship
29/8/2017 12:59 | 3D Prop Co has been sold. See gfir. No financial details though! If it's sold at the ALF book value that is 3.25 cents, more than enough for another distribution. | hugepants
23/8/2017 09:35 | I wanted 14 a share since last time, and missed out... Are these still worth it? | zcaprd7
23/8/2017 08:48 | Down to 16p - not looking very impressive! Certainly lacks visibility this one... | skyship
09/6/2017 13:55 | Question for me now is - with them now buying assets to realise has this moved on from being a realisation fund? | rjmahan |
