Same troll, different bridge. Anyway. Looking forward to the accounts next month and the 2023 targets and priorities from the company.

You do that Baghdaddy, it’s the talk of the city, I am sure they are already aware of what is being said. I have taken a look at this myself and the posts they are deleting are concerning and worth flagging up to say the least.

That's an allegation and a half, I'm sure the LSE lawyers would love to know what libelous comments are being made by some on here. I'll send them over so they can take appropriate action.

I heard this morning than LSE is involved in market manipulation specifically of Alpha Growth and removal of posts that show the company in a poor light. Do your own research guys, this is corrupt

Whilst you are emailing them, ask why their PR stinks and why the share price is sinking.

Hi Kaos,Id recommend emailing the company on ir@algwplc.com with a couple of examples and asking them how they would be accounted. Im sure theyll be very helpful and best to get it from the horses mouth.

I'm not sure that someone who has made 77 posts on LSE in 4 years could be classed as a knowledgeable poster:
1: The company is listed on the LSE and has no presence in the United Kingdom, as do many companies on the LSE, including FTSE100 companies, just as there are companies listed on the NASDAQ who have no presence in the US. A stock market listing is merely a method of enabling trading of a company stock, the jurisdiction is irrelevant.

2.Having a presence in so called tax havens is irrelevant, in fact it could well be advantageous from a business perspective.

3.The move from life settlements towards a more traditional insurance business? Clearly this not so knowledgeable poster doesn't understand that the insurance policies are underwritten through life insurance policies, therefore remains uncorrelated.

4.They do indeed expect to sell the business to a larger finance house, they have never said they will not pay a dividend they have clearly stated that at this time they do not expect to pay a dividend, as is the norm for growth companies, monies are better spent on growing the company rather than paying what would be relatively small dividends.

5.They have made it clear that they don't expect to have to raise capital for future acquisitions. They have also made it clear that should the right opportunity arise then they would consider a raise for such an accretive acquisition opportunity

6.If the company went private then they would STILL be bound by the UK takeover panel rules: The City Code does not apply to private companies which have their registered offices in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man UNLESS there has been some public trading or marketing of their shares in the previous ten years

LSE knowledgeable poster - This is a strange company. It is simply one man’s ambition to get rich, rather than enrich any retail shareholders. It is quoted on the main market of LSE, but it has no physical presence in UK other than a brass plate on the wall of a serviced office in Mayfair. The company has no operations in UK; but plenty of operations in tax havens. There are quite a few large shareholders and of the remaining retail float there is little trading activity, apart from the occasional Telegram pump, it seems.
The focus has shifted from life settlements to more traditional insurance business, which means the uncorrelated investment strapline is less valid and the company is more exposed to the finance markets than before. Hence the wallowing share price
The board has made it clear that no dividend will be paid, no more placings will be required, and they expect to sell the business on to a larger finance house in a few years from now, so why are they still a listed company on the LSE?
It would make more sense to delist, go private, rely on the pool of HNWI who own most of the shares to go for it with their warrants.
That way there is no public value attributable to the company via a stock exchange and any buyer would not be bound by the UK Takeover Panel rules, or stock price.

My daddy is dead so is my mummy, neither left any money, I had to pay for funerals. Every penny of th rather large amount of money I have invested here is my own hard earned cash. All the additional monies I will be investing here will also be my own hard earned cash

Juniperberry has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. He's a sad lonely individual who was likely bullied at school because he had no friends or social skills. Poor baby!! Go back to your sad little life, I'm sure your mummy loves you

Juniperberry - how do you know the accounts are negative? Perhaps you could clarify how you came to this conclusion?
