You are right about fénix which I previously researched for that very reason.

My understanding is that that iron is 90 dollars FOb and is not “green” iron like us. Hence are we potentially far superior with far superior potential profits?

Yes mate if it was sure thing it wouldn’t be 1/2p.

Good luck to us all that we don’t hit any hiccups this year :)

If it stalls due to heritage / indigenous issues , it will be very painful for Mcillree . Have to hope he has all his ducks in a row

Toasty totally get your points but ANR was going to be a power generator, at the time this part of Oz was desperately short of power and the BHP Olympic Dam mine wage huge and they were going to provide power for that as well, not being argumentative but good to discuss, same type of things needed then as now with the indigenous licence.

Just cautioning that all is not won yet.

I genuinely hope we here at UFO make it as it would be nice for one of my AIM punts to pay off, LOL

Heritage has to be a worry . Are issues around this problematic in this area ?

Hi P.

I can surely understand you being cautious. However your cautionary tale of a coal miner 20 years ago has no real context.

The second one you mention was a “revolutionary platinum smelter” this would have put me off right away. Revolutionary means new and unproven.

If we keep it UFO specific I assume there is three primary risks.

1. Heritage.
2. Funding
3. Iron ore price.

Then we have mismanagement risk but given we now have Troy and Rod has 500k of his own doh in im pretty relaxed about that.

So is there any material risks I haven’t thought of? Are any of those risks that high really. I’d suggest iron ore price is likely the highest because if iron ore tanks it’s hard to get funding?

Love to hear what risks I haven’t thought of?

Toasty whilst I do share your optimism I would also like to add a note of caution. I am sure we have all been stung by "fail safe" AIM shares but two in particular stand out for me which cost me dear, the first was ANR also in Oz and at times were teamed up with CNOOC and BP. even had agreements signed by (I think) the Chinese President at the time, had billions and billions worth of coal, this is 20 odd years ago now, so well in the money and they were going to produce oil from it as well as things like Napthar and jet fuel, it was only a whisker away from obtaining a licence and (from memory) the indigenous licence failed, this was also in a good part of Oz somewhere near the BHP huge copper mine, can't remember the name now but you get my drift. The second company was BRR and again had huge potential as it had a revolutionary Platinum smelter process that was going to set the world alight in the PGM space, it failed miserably and was eventually taken over by JLP and look where they are today. All I am warning people of is nothing is guaranteed, I am invested here but keeping a very close eye on it.

Ggp was at 1/2p and less I believe before discovery.

It raised to 2.5p post discovery when sprotts advsisor I spoke with and his investors took 100m shares. I spoke to him personally about GGP, and they still hold those shares. It then went on to 38p with a lot of hype. It’s a very good investment at current price. Very very good. Maybe a 3 or 4 bagger min over the next years.

Now this is something that dare I say could 6 bag over 6 months. I’ve currently got 170k invested and my good friends have 70k on. We roughly have 50m shares. I think we are going to keep buying. This is going to look very stupid valuation when they are making 50m a year in 2024 and have cash flow in 2023.

Id personally like to own more so I hope price stays down in the next 3 months.

How I found UFO is I looked at some of the credible posters on GGP profile like bamps for example from LSE and looked at their posting history. Basically I followed the winners who won on GGP. Then when I started researching the last 6 months i quite frankly can’t believe what we are sitting on compared to market cap. This doesn’t even seem that high a risk. Even if we get diluted from here so what.

We may in the future need to form a strong shareholder group to make sure we keep The BOD in line just like GGP. Shaun day makes sure he visits them and keeps them happy.

Keep ole Rod in check. Have him out on his ear if any messing!

2magpies.

Any idea why this share is so cheap despite the potential ? I can’t get my head around it the more i research ?

A consultant works in it for a while and basically gets the ceo ousted and jumps ship with his other dead duck listed company. He sticks 500k of his own doh in after consulting on it. If that isn’t the biggest bull sign ever I don’t know.

And, let it not go unremarked that: without Bill keeping the 'fires burning' over the last few years, Alien may well not have survived at all.

Good luck BBG.
