daisey i asked jez san on the telephone about 10days ago if he would sell he replied that he has no use for the shell and had already received various offers ? any formal offer would need to be made to all shareholders

Offers for San's 42% holding? I'm interested to know who would buy those shares, how can he sell them anyway, as surely a suspension applies to all of the company's shares?

LDM I asked about the web address etc. I was told that hosting had been contracted by Argonaut Software Limited and it was likely that the service had been cut by the provider for non payment.

You can bet if the web service has stopped the email service has too. So the only way to contact Crilly and the mob is via telephone and written correspondance now (neither of these methods they like being contacted by either).

They had to send the info to the shareholders of the three subsidiaries in administration. As far as I can tell that is Argonaut Games plc in each case. What this means is PLC sure as hell must know everything by now!! Time to 'fess up boys!!

Daisy, rd, some useful extracts from Schedule B1, Insolvency Act 1986:

"49 (1) The administrator of a company shall make a statement setting out proposals for achieving the purpose of administration."

"(4) The administrator shall send a copy of the statement of his proposals-

(a) to the registrar of companies,
(b) to every creditor of the company of whose claim and address he is aware, and
(c) to every member of the company of whose address he is aware"

" (5) The administrator shall comply with sub-paragraph (4)-

(a) as soon as is reasonably practicable after the company enters administration, and
(b) in any event, before the end of the period of eight weeks beginning with the day on which the company enters administration"

Eight weeks from October 22 = December 17

I'm surprised that the names of Tameem Antoniades, Mike Ball and Nina Kristensen don't figure more heavily on this board. They sold a newly formed company to Argonaut for £700,000, spent the next few years taking a wage from it, spared the parent company no expense when it came to building up JAM's IP... then when Argonaut went bust, bought JAM back for a song (aided by Jez San).

Ninja Theory Ltd is therefore headed by a group of people who have already been involved in a highly controversial and publicised transaction. At present, there is a very real risk of Ninja Theory getting involved in a legal wrangle with Argonaut plc shareholders. From a publisher's perspective, this alone makes it unattractive as a potential business partner. Little wonder that when it comes to Heavenly Sword, publishers don't want to put their money where their mouths allegedly are.
