Hi Gazza, just seen your message. There have been some enquiries lately and I hope our efforts will be worthwhile; time is short at the moment though.

I registered with the action group and have heard nothing.

I know it was a long shot, but can someone confirm whether there was any progress or did it wither and die?

yeah noticed that too folks, didn't think anyone read this thread anymore, just shows you, we haven't forgotton and to be very very sure, we have not just rolled over.

I've been on to the DTI again, but not having much luck getting a reply right now, the lady that was the contact seems to have left the building! (conspiracy theory can be inserted there if you like)

It's astounding that Sony actually registered the trademarks for Heavenly Sword in January (sorry no link to hand), so, that's just about 10 weeks after we were "legally"(?) robbed.

Now Sony are pushing this game as one of their flagship products.

Did they think 5 months, was enough time, to let us move on and forget about losing thousands (times thousands of people)?

surely a deal was on the table before the shares were suspended, things just don't move that fast. If that's the case, then JAM could have been sold for much much much much more than the San paid for them - do we know how much yet? Don't think so.

No doubt they all have a very nice explanation of what happened and why, blah, blah, blah, it's all phoney though, let's face it, it's just a manipulation of the law; it doesn't take a genius to work that out.

Incredible, and there is work afoot to keep this in the attention of various parties.

A message will be posted here with more info over the coming days/weeks.

Hope you're all well, I'm pretty much out of the markets all together now, I took a severe beating on this one, and I just can't afford the risk of being shafted again; especially in the current crazy economic climate.

I have it on good authority that AGSAG has been working very hard behind the scenes and an update will be issued shortly to all those who are registered (well over 200 members now)

EX ARGONAUT TEAM SAVED BY SONY

Next gen title in the works...

A team of British developers has risen from the ashes of Argonaut Games to produce an exclusive title for Sony's PlayStation 3.

After losing their jobs when indie publisher Argonaut collapsed six months ago, Tameem Antoniades and his fellow coders dusted themselves off and formed a new company, Ninja Theory.

Without a deal but unperturbed, the team began working on a prototype of martial arts epic Heavenly Sword at its Cambridge Studio, according to BBC News.

But the hard work paid off, when Sony picked up the next generation title and even highlighted it during last week's E3 launch of the PS3 in Los Angeles.

Antoniades said: "The future is bright for us now, whereas a few months ago it was very, very grim.

"For a moment I started to lose hope."

But with a Sony publishing deal now in place, the future is decidedly rosier for Ninja Theory.

Antoniades added: "We had the balls or the stupidity to do what we did but it so nearly didn't work out."

Heavenly Sword should by finished by late 2006, with a release date to be confirmed.

Anyone know what the hell is happening with AGSAG, since registering my shares I have heard absolutely nothing. Not on here, not by email or by post.

If any of the people who formed AGSAG read this I wouldn't mind being contacted. You have my details.

Also see the old AGM 2003 thread - JAM have reappeared for the PS3!!

I'm with you on this one. It's a disgrace! The cavalry didn't come to the rescue (they the DTI rarely do). If it wasn't for the DTI not prosecuting insiders pre-86 we wouldn't have the absurd regulation we have today but I digress..

hobo-- i am very happy to help give evidence against these directors and bring up further charges -- they should all at very least be disqaulfied as directors
