20/9/2020 11:09 | Yes I agree, Interesting clip,.. | graylyn1
20/9/2020 10:58 | Let's see what they find first as much as speculation is wonderful | theaviator
20/9/2020 10:33 | The way this will work is simple, any gold mined will Not go to market but will be sold to a partner with exclusive rights as a joint venture to produce jewellery and gold coins to sell on, this way ALBA can control the amount of gold available for sale thus keeping the gold at a premium price. I do not expect them to find huge quantities of gold perhaps they could produce 10 to 15 thousand Oz per year. | graylyn1
20/9/2020 10:14 | wow 10-50x spot! | the stigologist

19/9/2020 13:57 | from 2018 worth a read (ALBA has moved forward nicly in recent months) “The mine was operating from the 1850s to the early 1990s at various stages,” says Alba’s technical director for mining Howard Baker. “They followed the mineralised veins – the mining was the exploration. Not a single diamond drill-hole has been put in it, from an exploration perspective. There hasn’t been any focused geochemistry or geophysics. From a modern-day exploration perspective, it’s amazingly under-developed.&rdq Clogau: Alba takes control Alba, which owns mineral and hydrocarbon projects elsewhere in the UK, as well as Greenland, Ireland and Mauritania, acquired a 49% stake in Clogau mine owner Gold Mines of Wales (GMOW) in December 2017, and upped its share to 90% this summer, giving the company full control of the project. “We always had in mind, if we could, to go to a majority stake,” says Alba executive chairman George Frangeskides. “We’ve got a good team and we think we know what we’re doing, so we wanted to be masters of our own destiny.” Frangeskides believes his company has the will and skill to bring Clogau out of its slumber and develop a modern, commercially viable centre of production at the mine site, while advancing exploration at other promising spots in the company’s licence area, which spans around 100km² of the Dolgellau Gold Belt. “The previous public company that had a 49% stake was an investment company, so they weren’t really driving it forward,” Frangeskides says. “As we’re an exploration company, that’s what we do. It fits our profile very well; what we’ve looked for in a lot of our projects in the mining space is something that’s been a mine before, which obviously [Clogau] has been. If you look our Amitsoq graphite project in southern Greenland, that was a former graphite mine. “Also the fact that it’s known to be a historical high-grade gold producer. The economics, therefore, should be easier to stack up in terms of hopefully finding unworked veins of high-grade gold.” much more in the full article. | graylyn1
19/9/2020 13:47 | No mention of the rise in the newspapers, I find it quite astonishing they have not picked up on this !!!🧐 | strongbuy
19/9/2020 09:59 | why not ? spread your eggs makes sense | johncasey
19/9/2020 09:55 | ... but I wish they'd FOCUS on a few less sectors. For such a small company to be invested in oil, gas, graphite, gold etc doesn't make sense. | spbcscw
19/9/2020 09:01 | Exactly Cj if you look at others in this sector then you would think this should be sitting at around 2p to 4p So around £100m to £200m and even at the worst Case it should be over 1p !! Totally undervalued, Pile In 🚀🚀 | strongbuy
19/9/2020 07:15 | Even at this elevated share price 0.42p The market cap is only £21M By any standard this is vastly under priced. | cjmorley99

18/9/2020 21:12 | Next week is TESLA Battery Day Good time to update on this Alba Appoints Graphite Experts for Battery Testwork Alba Mineral Resources plc (AIM: ALBA), the diversified mineral exploration and development company, i s pleased to report the appointment of leading graphite experts, ProGraphite GmbH ("ProGraphite") for the next phase of testwork at our high-grade Amitsoq graphite project, in southern Greenland. Whereas the last phase of the Company's testwork successfully focused on maximising the yield of higher-value large flakes, the focus of the new testwork will be on assessing the most efficient and optimised method for the production of material for lithium-ion battery ("LIB") anode testwork. The flake size of the graphite used to produce LIB anode material is less relevant, as the graphite is micronized to less than 30 micron prior to shaping and purification. Consequently, the recovery of larger flake graphite is not an objective for this testwork. Highlights · The next phase of testwork at the high-grade Amitsoq Graphite Project will focus on the production of material for LIB anode testwork. · Alba has secured the appointment of leading German graphite experts, ProGraphite, to conduct this phase of testwork. · This testwork is distinct from the last phase of work, which confirmed the ability of Amitsoq graphite to produce a concentrate containing a significant proportion (36%) of flakes in the higher-value large, jumbo and super jumbo flake sizes. George Frangeskides, Executive Chairman, commented: "I am delighted that we have been able to secure the expertise of Dr Christoph Frey and his team at ProGraphite in Germany to oversee the next phase of testwork at our high-grade Amitsoq graphite project." | the stigologist
18/9/2020 20:45 | There is 10 anomalys. What is it? Copper, zinc, silver, gold? In this area gold is everywhere (look history) so I suppose they have rather only new deposits with gold. Question is only for me one: how big are deposits?????? This is worthy today about 3x2000$/oz. Value should be huge and mcap look ridiculous im my opinion. | sharesmans |
