Hopefully this signals a new start for Sierra Leone and Agriterra's cocoa operations.

Hi PUGUGLY,

Please expand on History.

Management. Ill give you that. They have a lot to prove or are they just in it for the wages !

Locations. This being Africa at the moment where would be a better 'location' ?.

On the positive side of which AGTA have many (imo), Ill just highlight Cocoa ... for which demand is set to keep growing year on year.

I do not presently hold.

As you say Ohit not overly exciting but at least it's positive news at long last.
We need much more though to see real progress.

Yep, bluebadger. Or take Imagination Technology, which fell all the way down to 15p following the "Dotcom Crash". I sold my last batch a couple of years ago for £6.50! (Now less than £2.50 again however). It doesn't happen every time, so only invest what you're prepared to lose and never with money you may need in the short term. There's nothing wrong with FTSE100 either in my book, that's where 80% of my money is invested.

I bought Lo-Q (now Accesso) at 90p in 2002, only watch it to fall to 4p.

Management kept plugging away and now it stands at 555p.

That's why people buy penny stocks. A 100-fold rise is unlikely at AGTA but if the management do the right things, it has huge potential from this low price. I'm happy to hold (though am not adding more, yet).

Be amazed dodge, so go back to your FTSE 100 stocks and if your feeling reckless, put a few pounds on a FTSE 250 stock, you can do it !.

Correction, he's not a director. He's the Co-Founder and CEO of RAB Capital. He must have a few quid for the occasional penny stock punt.

Good news and a definite vote of confidence but he's not a director of AGTA is he?

Finally seeing some director buying...

Agriterra Limited, the AIM listed pan-African agricultural company, received notification on 11 March 2015 that following the acquisition of 26,500,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 6 March 2015, Fitel Nominees Limited as the nominee for Mr William Philip Seymour Richards, is now interested in 36,500,000 shares, representing 3.44% of the issued share capital and voting rights of the Company.

If it wasn't for the $5m legacy oil money, they would be in a pickle.

And there is only one way to prove a NAV... and that is sell it and change it into cash.

I should have sold ages ago, but will wait for an improving picture now that the Ebola crisis seems to be waning (at least to us comfortable Europeans).

results truly dreadful

management making the same worthless statements as they have for the last two years .Little or no growth , non existent margins and huge cash burn .

The net asset value is just a stupid statement - they have no cash to develop cocoa even if they could and if the land valu in Moz was actually worth that , they should sell it !

Cash will disappear in the next 18-24 months and well before that , the share price will wilt even further in anticipation of fund raising .

The only solution is for management to sell and get what they can for the Moz assets . Unfortunately turkeys don't vote for Christmas.
