18/10/2013 09:35 | Not on holiday, nothing to discuss at the moment, apart from the cocoa price continuing to surge upwards. Dissapointing to see this below 2p again on drip selling, but thats the way the market is currently. | the count of monte_cristo

11/10/2013 17:17 | Hi Stable, nice to have you posting here, I hope to hear from you a little more, would love to know some of your insights on the current soft (Agri) commodities space. Kind regards, TCMC. | the count of monte_cristo
11/10/2013 11:52 | not in but watching . Having been in commodities all my working life(long ago) the ability to put chart reading before fundamentals was, with the advent of computer trading buy the big houses an advantage. I dont say ignore fundementals , just look at the chart with due dilligence | stable
11/10/2013 10:53 | signs that the stock overhang might be clearing . certainly a decent opportunity to pick up more this morning and the seller was absorbed pretty quickly - leaving a few buyers unfilled by all accounts | baa
10/10/2013 14:05 | Thanks Count for the reading list. Have decent knowledge of coffee used to live in a coffee growing area. Some are idea of cocoa. From a commodities point of you jim rogers is a ggod read. Used to subscribe to Barrons but not anymore. | multibagger
10/10/2013 13:11 | Thanks Multi, I have read all of Jims books, very entertaining and informative reads, most of them should probably be taught in Business schools! I like Rogers, Faber, Schiff and Sprott. | the count of monte_cristo

10/10/2013 09:05 | Not sure whether it is of interest for anyone but some books on the subjects of Beef, Cocoa, Coffee detailed below which may help to round off ones knowledge on the three commodities. Have not read any of them yet, will add them to my Christmas list. | the count of monte_cristo
10/10/2013 07:14 | Not directly about AGTA but still interesting. hxxp://www.howwemade | freddie01
08/10/2013 06:25 | The cocoa story is a potential game changer for AGTA (amongst others). I have bought in on the anticipated global trend for more cocoa consumption with changing socio-economics in the developing world. | multibagger
08/10/2013 06:19 | Cocoa up over 3% to almost 2,700 US$ mt | the count of monte_cristo
01/10/2013 09:25 | Two more good examples of infrastructure improvements. All good news for economic growth in the region, which in turn improves Agriterra's prospects of success and makes their shares, IMO, look cheap. | oiht

28/9/2013 16:19 | Obt is doing well, hopefully same is soon to happen here | vyke82
27/9/2013 18:09 | Thanks, The Count ... for taking the time and effort in putting together your Email and for posting the reply. I did not think you would get the reply, so thanks to AGTA for the response. Good Weekend, All | tenapen
27/9/2013 17:00 | Some good points guys, perhaps worth putting to the new CFO once he has settled in. I think we may have more luck with raising these issues with him, especially if they come from a group of shareholders. | the count of monte_cristo
27/9/2013 16:00 | Thanks TCoMC. Job well done! It would be nice if PE could get as much share price excitement going for us as has happened at AOL. | eipgam
27/9/2013 10:46 | good points jimmy its not perfect ...but i guess that is why we have the opportunity to pick up at such a discount to NAV. i can not im afraid see this changing until a deep pocket i.e a fund comes in and buys a decent stake to get rid of this seller. certainly a few director buys would help get us some much needed PR. Also as i have stated many times before i would like to see how the grain stands up on its own. the expenses of the company are , as you say not helped by these fat cats taking salaries for really just over seeing others doing their work for them. if we have decent on site managers . we dont need so many guys signing bits of paper and taking expenses out. its a commen problem, but the busness growth shown soon i hope will over shadow this situation. | sitiain
26/9/2013 17:14 | Count. Many thanks for this.Couple of points i will mull over. The question of why phil and other directors are not concentrating full time on AGTA was not answered to my satisfaction, well it was answered but im not happy with the answer. Are we not important enough for anyone to concentrate there full attention on. What happens in a couple of years as we grow?. I do know that much of what a board does is often just sign papers on the recommendations of the management teams and unfortunatly thats what we have at AGTA.The second point is about our sale of our oil assets. I believe we should have sold, but i also believe we should have kept a small stake in it, perhaps 5% OR 10% obviously this would have affected the amount we recieved, but it would have i believe kept the share price around the 5p instead of half this now, and if they do find the big one there then we have a nice future earner. This would have been the best solution giving no dillution yet alsi a punt on the oil. And finally, the second catalyst for a share price drop here the moz insurgent, i dont believe that the elections wont cause us a few probs there, though perhaps short lived. | jimmy12345
