Losing Soames could be good news for AGK.
Great buying opportunity first thing - no available funds unfortunately.

Considering the the stock has fallen out of fashion over the last couple of years, he can't be that important. However, the market certainly didn't like the news!

not a stock I follow closely , but I assume this is linked to Soames being poached? Was he key to the business?

Climbing steadily back from the big sell.
Don't think there is anything new in the FT article.

A big sell order sent Aggreko sliding, with one shareholder dumping about 2 per cent of the generator hire group.
Aggreko lost 1.6 per cent to £15.48 on word that an institutional investor had sold 5m shares via Citigroup at £15.35 apiece.
The sale came a month ahead of Aggreko's full-year results, where the company is expected to caution that dollar strength has continued to affect orders for its emerging markets division, which provides more than half of group earnings.
Aggreko said in December that its annual results would be slightly ahead of expectations. Yet about 11.5 per cent of Aggreko's free float is on loan, making it the FTSE 100's most shorted stock.

Just read in the FT today that there was a big bailing yesterday and that the stock is heavily shorted at present.

Salpara111 - There was a placing of 5m or so shares at 1,535p. Probably why.

Refs:_ Decline in eps for each of the next 2 years of minus 8.33% and -8.91%.

p/e still too high at 20.7 proportional and gearing at 56%.

Could well (imo) break back below last year's low of 1442p PLUS major negative of falling currencies in emerging markets could well result in very significant revenue shortfall after conversion to sterling.

If there are any more please post to alert me and I will add them as well.
Significant purchases by Directors can be a good indicator, take a look at the WTB thread!
